Role Overview
Location: Mountain View, CA (Full-time in-office)

ID.me is seeking a MarTech Operations Manager to own the day-to-day operations, implementation, and optimization of our marketing automation systems, data flows, and campaign enablement across teams.This role ensures data integrity, seamless audience syncs, accurate event tracking, and reliable automation to enable personalized, measurable, and scalable marketing programs. You’ll collaborate closely with Lifecycle Marketing, Product, Data Engineering, Analytics, and platform partners to manage integrations, streamline workflows, and continuously enhance ID.me’s marketing technology ecosystem.


Responsibilities

Platform Management & Optimization

  • Manage and optimize ID.me’s marketing automation platforms (e.g., Braze, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and related systems.
  • Oversee campaign operations, including setup, QA, deployment, and performance monitoring across CRM channels.
  • Ensure data pipelines, event triggers, and audience syncs operate seamlessly across marketing and product systems.
  • Maintain data hygiene, compliance, and segmentation logic, ensuring member engagement campaigns are accurate and reliable.
  • Partner with Data Engineering to implement and validate event tracking and marketing data flows.

Automation & Workflow Enablement

  • Build and maintain automated workflows and customer journeys to support lifecycle programs, retargeting, and transactional communications.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to streamline campaign processes, reduce manual work, and improve system efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data syncs, campaign delivery, and workflow automation.

Data Integrity & Reporting

  • Maintain data quality standards across CRM, CDP, and analytics tools, ensuring accuracy in targeting and reporting.
  • Collaborate with Analytics to ensure marketing data structures support performance measurement, attribution, and optimization.
  • Monitor system performance metrics and proactively identify areas for improvement in automation, deliverability, and data flow reliability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Lifecycle, Growth, and Product Marketing teams to support campaign launches and personalization initiatives.
  • Partner with Engineering and Data teams to ensure proper event tracking, API integrations, and data availability.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for MarTech tool adoption, onboarding, and governance.

Innovation & Best Practices

  • Stay current on MarTech trends, CRM innovations, and data privacy best practices (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CCPA).
  • Evaluate new tools and technologies to improve efficiency, scalability, and personalization capabilities.

Qualifications

The qualifications below are ideal, but not all are required.  We encourage candidates to apply if they satisfy some, but not all of the qualifications.

  • 5–7 years of experience in marketing operations, marketing automation, or MarTech implementation at a high-growth B2C, eCommerce, or tech company.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM and automation platforms such as Braze, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar systems.
  • Familiarity with data integration and ETL processes, CDPs, and API-based connections between MarTech systems.
  • Proficiency with segmentation, event triggers, and audience management.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, JSON, or scripting for data manipulation and system QA (preferred but not required).
  • Experience building and maintaining automation workflows, triggers, and audience logic.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve process efficiency and drive automation scalability.
  • Proven track record of working cross-functionally with Marketing, Data, Engineering, and Product teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

The annual base salary listed does not include a company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity and benefits which will be determined based on experience, skills, education, relevant training, geographic location and role.

The above represents the anticipated total rewards package for this job requisition. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on qualifications, professional experiences, skills, education, relevant training, geographic location, and other job related factors.

$158,523 - $226,840 USD
