Role Name: Manager Technology - ERP & Business Apps
Responsibilities of the IT Manager includes managing a team of SAP Basis, BTP/CPI, ABAP and SAP Security administrators to support the SAP landscape and IT satellite systems that support various functions. This position will be responsible for providing leadership, guidance, SME advice, and direction to the SAP Basis Administrators, BTP/CPI, Landops, ProdOps, Testing, Security team, IT Support Analysts and Business Functions. Position will require deep technical knowledge for system troubleshooting, problem solving, capacity planning, and performance optimization to manage the SAP system. Position will be responsible for managing governance and compliance of the SAP systems and related processes & routine maintenance. Position will require a strong understanding of SAP Testing methodologies and tools to maximize the efficiency in the overall SDLC. Position will need to interface and manage key vendors related to SAP interfaces, Application Managed Support, SAP Security, SAP ECS team and other initiatives that fall within their purview. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP & Cloud technologies, as well as strong leadership and project management skills
Minimum Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Ability to build and lead SAP DevOps, Testing, automation, BTP/CPI, security & technical team
Extensive experience with SAP Basis Administration, in-depth knowledge of RISE with SAP CAS offerings, deployment models (PCE), BTP Global Accounts and tenants, infrastructure integration
Manage and monitor SAP RISE PCE landscapes, ensuring scalability, performance, coordinate with SAP and customer teams for PCE-specified standard operational tasks, coordinating service requests, server and system maintenance, collaborate with CAS team to provide tailored technical and strategic guidance for SAP roadmap, act as technical advisor and decision maker
Oversee the design, development, and deployment of integration scenarios using SAP CPI and the integration suite tools, manage integrations between S/4HANA, Ariba, IBP, non-SAP boundary (edge) systems such as Kafka, other internal IT systems, drive automation and efficiency improvements in integration processes, establish integration governance standards
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of technical developers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of SAP Security roles and profiles, ensure proper segregation of duties (SoD), manage user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews (UAR) across SAP systems, manage and resolve security incidents, unauthorized access, vulnerabilities, and breaches
Act as the primary liaison between IT teams, business units, and third-party vendors regarding BTP-related projects
Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, identify training and development opportunities for the team
Allocate resources effectively across projects to meet deadlines and business priorities
Ability to be influential & coordinate integration efforts with internal Cloud ops, SAP ECS Delivery & Technical Service Managers, and Customer Success Partners
Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure & Linux, in-depth knowledge and expertise in coordinating with hyperscalers for infrastructure sizing, network integration, upsizing, downsizing of server capacities
Deep technical knowledge and understanding of SAP ERP, Cloud, HANA Database, reporting of SAP For Me customer insight dashboards, Jira dashboards
Experience with but not limited to; SAP Global S/4, CPI, BTP, ARIBA, IBP, C-ALM Monitoring, BTP, FIORI, CPGRC, Rev-Trac, Onapsis for SAP
Overseeing SAP systems from compliance and risk perspective, relevant to industry standards, maintenance schedules, data privacy regulations, and internal security policies
Monitoring & management of SAP system performance, implementing improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Development & implementation of SAP network security assessment plan, Disaster recovery/business continuity plans for SAP systems, interface monitoring, server upgrades & SAP maintenance calendar activities
Experience with multiple testing methodologies and test management tools such as Cloud ALM, Tricentis, JIRA X-Ray, Atlassian JIRA, etc.
Adept at coordinating cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to meet project milestones.
Strong written and verbal skills, analytical mindset with the ability to resolve complex challenges
Ability to properly document data flows & system architectures
Provide regular updates to senior management on platform performance, innovations, and cost efficiency
Ability to partner with External vendors, IT and Business stakeholders on current and future initiatives
Experience in coordinating technical support for SAP TM, OTC, Ariba, IBP, Open Text, IAS and IPS
Ability to manage third party vendors and contractors in designing stable & scalable applications
Experience managing technical escalations service requests with SAP ECS team and AMS partner
Strong communication & verbal skills
Education & Experience Necessary For Success
BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus
At least 12-15 years of ERP, Private Cloud, Integrations with hands-on technical experience
Experience supporting maintenance activities & CAS packages with SAP and AMS partners in RISE environment
Experience in successful S/4 HANA migrations to RISE PCE, implementation of HA/DR solutions, and optimization of cloud-hosted SAP landscapes, BTP and its components
E-commerce or retail experience background preferred
At least 5 years of management experience
ITIL certification nice to have but not mandatory
Strong organization, change management & project management skills
Strong understanding of SAP architecture, integration and best practices

The anticipated pay scale for this position can be found below, however the pay range applicable to you may vary by geographic location based on where the job is located or where you work. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc. iHerb, LLC is a multi-state employer and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations.

Anticipated Pay Scale:
$139,020 - $215,903 USD
