About the Role
The SVP of House Brands will serve as the head executive leading iHerb’s extensive private brand portfolio—including industry-leading brands such as California Gold Nutrition, Super Nutrition, Mild By Nature, and IdeaLove. This role reports directly to the CEO and holds full P&L ownership and strategic responsibility for transforming iHerb’s House Brands into a multi-billion-dollar global business.
Leveraging iHerb’s global reach, robust e-commerce platform, and strategic B2B capabilities, this executive will lead aggressive growth across multiple channels—direct-to-consumer (DTC), wholesale (B2B), online, and offline retail. They will strategically expand market presence, optimize operations, and enhance brand equity across the entire portfolio, which spans vitamins, minerals & supplements (VMS), bath & beauty, personal care, and wellness categories.
Job Summary
The SVP, House Brands, is responsible for building, scaling, and leading iHerb’s private label division into a standalone, globally recognized powerhouse. This executive owns the vision, strategy, execution, and financial performance for all aspects of the private brands business, from innovation and product lifecycle management to global sales growth and strategic market expansion.
This position requires both strategic vision and operational excellence. The SVP will oversee a dedicated House Brands team, set growth-oriented policies, manage resources effectively, and foster cross-functional collaboration with iHerb’s executive leadership, marketing, operations, legal/compliance and finance teams.
The ideal candidate brings significant experience scaling global brands or private label businesses, especially within the health, wellness, personal care, beauty, and nutrition sectors, and is exceptionally skilled in driving growth through digital channels, global e-commerce, and strategic B2B partnerships.
Job Expectations:
Strategic Vision & Growth Leadership
- Create and execute a comprehensive growth strategy to position iHerb’s House Brands as a global market leader, generating multi-billion dollar annual revenue.
- Lead product innovation, development, lifecycle management, and SKU optimization to drive market share and profitability.
Global & Multi-channel Expansion
- Develop and implement scalable direct-to-consumer (DTC) and B2B strategies that leverage iHerb’s existing global reach while expanding into new markets and channels.
- Drive brand awareness, market penetration, customer acquisition, and retention strategies, optimizing lifetime value (LTV).
Operational Oversight & Excellence
- Full P&L ownership for House Brands, including revenue forecasting, budgeting, profitability management, expense control, and strategic financial planning.
- Oversee operations including supply chain optimization, vendor management, manufacturing quality control, inventory management, and compliance.
Team & Organizational Development
- Attract, hire, develop, and retain top-tier talent to form a high-performing, agile, and growth-oriented House Brands team.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and alignment with Marketing, Sales, Operations, Compliance, Finance, and other key stakeholders.
Executive Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Regularly report on financial performance, business milestones, and strategic initiatives to the CEO, Executive Team, and Board of Directors.
- Present business strategy and results to stakeholders, clearly articulating objectives, opportunities, risks, and execution plans.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Exceptional strategic thinker and influential communicator able to effectively interact with executive leadership, board members, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to navigate rapid growth, complexity, and ambiguity in a global environment.
Equipment Knowledge:
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred
Experience Requirements:
Executive Leadership & Track Record
- Minimum 10-15 years of proven executive-level experience leading significant revenue growth at global-scale brands or private-label businesses.
- Demonstrated success scaling brands into billion-dollar businesses through e-commerce, DTC, and B2B channels.
Industry Expertise
- Deep knowledge of vitamins, minerals & supplements (VMS), wellness, beauty, and personal care product categories.
- Extensive experience managing a private-label or branded portfolio within consumer health, wellness, beauty, or nutrition sectors.
Growth & Revenue Leadership
- Expertise in developing and executing profitable business strategies, driving customer acquisition, retention, brand equity, and loyalty at scale.
- Skilled in building robust B2B pipelines, strategic partnerships, and managing global distribution channels.
Operational & Financial Acumen
- Strong experience managing complex global supply chains, production processes, regulatory compliance, and quality standards.
- Expert-level understanding of financial management, budgeting, forecasting, expense optimization, and profitability strategies.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred. Advanced degree highly desired.

The anticipated pay scale for this position can be found below, however the pay range applicable to you may vary by geographic location based on where the job is located or where you work. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc. iHerb, LLC is a multi-state employer and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations.

Hired applicant may be awarded Restrict Stock Units and receive annual bonuses pursuant to eligibility and performance criteria defined in the respective plan documents and policies.

$275,834 - $606,835 USD
