Quality Control Coordinator II
Job Summary:
Responsible for providing administrative and laboratory support by performing incoming sample management and product release for House Brand products. Compiles and trends data from samples, provides overall support to QC, and assists in investigations for the Quality Department.
Job Expectations:
- Verify all incoming products are properly received, stored, and segregated in the warehouse.
- Ensure incoming products and components are on HOLD/Quarantine until properly evaluated and approved for receipt.
- Reconcile all received products to ensure compliance against established specifications.
- Complete and maintain product documentation (e.g., testing and sampling logs, test request forms, COAs/test reports, etc.)
- Collect samples of incoming products following established sampling procedures.
- Prepare samples to send to appropriate staff, third-party labs and other locations.
- Monitor, document, and file laboratory tests for all incoming products.
- Monitor and review laboratory test results to make QC dispositions for incoming products.
- Maintain retain products, retain storages and all necessary finished goods samples and documentation.
- Assist to investigate, document and resolve quality issues for all House Brands products.
- Assist Quality Manager and Operations personnel to review and perform HOLD/Quarantine on any deficient products for further review and/or corrective action.
- Report to management on quality issues, trends and losses.
- Communicates with other departments to facilitate inspection and disposition.
- Assist in driving resolution of product quality customer inquiries, complaints and internal non-conformance events, ensuring positive resolution to customer.
- Assist in creating and revising technical and controlled documents including Specifications, COAs, as needed.
- Assist in creation and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Step Action Guides (SAG) to support Quality Systems.
- Assist with Document Control, Management of Change Control, CAPA and other Quality Systems tracking/trending.
- Train and/or cross-train other employees, as needed.
- Assist to maintain scheduled calibrations of quality test equipment and gauges.
- Perform other assigned duties as determined by the Quality Management.

Equipment/Systems Knowledge:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Basic Use of Spreadsheet)
- Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred
- SAP
- Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Scales, Measuring Devices and other various equipment
Experience Requirements:
Generally, 3-5 years of relevant industry experience in Quality Control and/or Assurance or a related role.
Quality Systems exposure (Document Control, Change Control, NCRs, CAPA, etc.)
Education Requirements:
BS/BA degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology or Food Science preferred. Or High School Diploma with a combination of education, training, and equivalent work experience.

The anticipated pay scale for this position can be found below, however the pay range applicable to you may vary by geographic location based on where the job is located or where you work. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc. iHerb, LLC is a multi-state employer and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations.
