Job Overview
Head of new department within sprinkler consultancy in Denmark
We offer sprinkler consultancy all over the world and also want to spread this in Denmark, which is why we have an open position at technical manager level within sprinkler consultancy. This is with a view to starting up and developing our business area within consultancy on fire technical sprinkler systems.
In Denmark, we are, among other things, consultants on 1) The reconstruction of the Stock Exchange, 2) Denmark's largest wooden building, 3) High-rise buildings, 4) Airports and 5) Industrial projects, etc. In addition, we are proud to be the driving force behind the development and adoption of standards and regulations across various industries and worldwide. Just like in the rest of the world, we see a great need for impartial advice within sprinkler design in the early phases of these complicated buildings.
Responsibilities
- Advising on sprinkler solutions on unique and challenging projects primarily in Denmark, but also throughout Europe and the US in collaboration with technical experts.
- Planning and leading engineering activities within sprinkler consultancy.
- Delivering optimized and innovative sprinkler solutions for complex problems.
- Preparing and presenting technical reports.
- Participating in market and business development and supporting learning for potentially new colleagues within sprinkler design and among the fire consultants at Jensen Hughes.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience with designing sprinkler systems within all types of construction
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering or a related field
- Experience with customer contact and the ability to understand and advise customers
- Experience in relevant engineering software such as hydraulic calculation software, AutoCAD, Revit and SprinkCAD etc
- Good English skills (oral) is an advantage
