The Snr. HR Director - UK&I will lead and integrate three core functional areas across all four UK locations: HR Business Partnership, HR Operations, and Culture & Office Management. Working in close collaboration with the UK&I HR team, this role will provide comprehensive support to all business sectors in the region, with particular emphasis on our Revenue-generating and Engineering departments. This position requires a transformational leader who can effectively merge organizational cultures following our recent acquisition while establishing a cohesive company culture. The Senior HR Director - UK&I  will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, delivering best-in-class HR business partner services while optimizing HR operations and processes. The role demands exceptional relationship management skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to drive engagement and performance across diverse teams while navigating complex employee relations matters with sensitivity and expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic HR leadership and business partnership to leaders and executives across the region
  • Partner with leadership on mergers and acquisitions impacting the UK&I team, including change management and integration efforts, and/or TUPE considerations 
  • Spearhead cultural integration initiatives, fostering a unified and positive workplace environment
  • Partner with leadership to address complex employee relations issues and performance management challenges
  • Oversee HR operations, compliance, and administrative functions for the UK&I
  • In partnership with client leaders, assess leadership talent (performance, potential), identify high impact roles, then support them in their succession planning and leadership gap needs
  • Collaborate with Global Talent Acquisition and the business to focus and prioritize key hiring decisions, including leadership hiring, across the region
  • Manage HR budgets and resource allocation to meet business objectives
  • Collaborate with global HR teams to ensure consistent implementation of company-wide initiatives
  • Drive employee engagement and performance through innovative programs and initiatives
  • Collaborate with Legal on ACAS or tribunal matters for UK&I employees
  • Manage work visa sponsorship efforts in UK&I 
  • Accelerate regional Manager Self Service, in partnership with HR Operations and Services, to help automate key HR processes to make them scalable, simpler, more efficient, transparent and more user-friendly
  • Lead and develop a team of HR professionals and people managers, ensuring high-quality support across all HR functions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Economics, Human Resources Management, or other relevant fields
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 5 years in senior HR leadership roles 
  • Minimum 5 years' experience leading and developing multi-functional HR teams of at least 4 staff members, including at least 2 years managing people leaders/supervisors
  • Minimum 2 years experience of working with engineering teams in a SaaS environment
  • Previous experience as a strategic HR Business Partner
  • Experience/expertise in at least 2 of the 4 HR functional areas:  Compensation, Global People Development, HR Operations/Service/Processes, Talent Acquisition, in the context of a global multi-national company
  • Extensive experience in client facing HR roles across key HR services and products, i.e. understanding our business clients needs and how they consume these services
  • Proven track record in managing post-acquisition cultural integration and change management
  • Proven track record of managing change and integration efforts
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and develop strong cross-functional working relationships across HR and our business clients, in a balanced manner
  • Strong knowledge of UK labour law and experience in successfully handling ER cases
  • Ability to think “outside-in” (i.e. starting with the business client) to develop scalable and repeatable HR solutions
  • High attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks, and work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
  • Exceptional ability in diplomatic and collaborative communication and partnership across Sectors and levels
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts in simple terms to various audiences.
  • Manage highly confidential information with professionalism and integrity, plus excellent business judgment concerning confidential matters.
  • Starting with an inclusion mindset in dealings with colleagues and clients
  • Experience working in technology, SaaS, or cybersecurity industries highly preferred
  • Ability to travel occasionally within the UK and Europe
