Films Archive - Ingest Associate

Working with the Production Operations and Media Management teams, the Ingest Assistant will be responsible for the creation, delivery and archiving of digital media files at NFL Films in Mount Laurel, NJ.  In addition, this individual will be assisting our Media Administration team with digitizing related questions, as well as quality control and will work with other departments to administer changes to media currently on the system.  Responsibilities may also include working with out of house companies contracted with digitizing archival tapes as well.  This is a contract position for a multi-year project.

Essential Functions:

  • Digitizing of media across several tape formats
  • Knowledge of CatDV file creation and transcode
  • Coordination with Media Management teams to insure proper file creation and archiving
  • Work within our in-house library management system.
  • 5+ years’ experience of tape and media asset management within media library environment.
  • Knowledge of Avid Media Composer and Interplay

 

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • College degree with background in video production preferred
  • Experience with various tape formats and digital editing systems a must

Other Key Attributes / Characteristics:

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Capable of working in a team environment, as well as independently
  • Ability to follow comprehensive instructions
  • Strict attention to detail is a must
  • Ability to work non-standard hours

Expected Hours of Work:

40 hours per week.  Must be flexible with schedule and able to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Salary

$30 - $40 USD
