Account Executive
About the Role:
Reporting to: Account Manager
Fuse is looking for an ambitious Account Executive to join our Vodafone team, one of our highest profile & most prestigious accounts. You’ll play an important role in supporting our existing team in delivering the client’s sporting partnerships, including its relationship with Wimbledon, the Welsh Rugby Union, & the Scottish Rugby Union.
You will have strong interpersonal and project management skills, excellent attention to detail, a self-starting attitude, and be confident when liaising with clients and partner organisations. You will be expected to have a strong interest in sport and a passion for marketing. Some experience working in this space is preferred, perhaps via an internship, but not a necessity.
The successful candidate will be joining a creative and dynamic team, supporting on on-going projects. Main day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Manage & own team status documents, ensuring they are shared with the client & other stakeholders in a timely manner
- Organise and chair weekly status calls with the client and rights holders
- Timely communications with the client and supporting agencies around all activation updates
- Management of client approvals and campaign reporting/ evaluations
- Supporting account teams with partnership planning and activation
- Management of ongoing partnerships and brand experiences, which will involve project management and stakeholder & agency coordination
- Keeping track of all contractual rights to make sure the client is getting proper value from the partnership and ensuring nothing is going to waste
- Supporting the client and supporting agencies on-site at shoot days or events, where appropriate
- Support with general research tasks to ensure the team and the client are aware of latest marketing / sponsorship trends
- Ensure all sponsorship materials are properly stored on the system, including key client and team material
Desired Skills and Experiences
- Experience and an interest in partnership marketing and experiences
- A broad understanding of marketing, sponsorship and partnerships
- Clear & concise written and verbal communication skills
- Strong use of key document software, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Excellent attention to detail, yet ability to multi-task and think on your feet
- Confident when liaising with colleagues, clients & suppliers
- A can-do, positive, friendly attitude
- You need to have the ability & willingness to work flexibly, usually in the London office, with occasional UK travel, on-site events, and some weekend work.
This is a full-time role & you must be eligible to work in the UK.
