Role & Responsibilities
Reporting to the District Manager, in this position you will be responsible for leading customer retention and revenue growth within your territory of restaurants.
In your role, you will be in tune with the local restaurant industry and will proactively engage with our restaurant customers. You will be innovative in overcoming customer obstacles, and provide constructive perspectives to challenge current thinking. The successful candidate will be positive and encouraging by nature, resilient under pressure, and regularly sought after for insight, input, and collaboration..
Successful Account Managers will meet and exceed goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Meeting your goals is centred around your ability to:

Work closely with customers to increase product and feature adoption, improve their online availability and ultimately grow their business through our partnership.

Become a trusted adviser to our customers and influencing an ongoing retention of their business with us

Maintain an experienced level of understanding of all products and services that OpenTable offers.

Proactively incorporate company strategies into your work and constantly be on the lookout for opportunities to increase your impact with customers.

Share and implement standard methodologies with members of the sales and restaurant relations team.

Be highly visible and frequently face-to-face with our customers in the field.

Stay current with organisational changes, initiatives, and vision.

Work collaboratively with colleagues and key internal stakeholders

You are passionate about hospitality and technology. Restaurant management and/or sales experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred but not essential..

You are curious, humble and have an eagerness to learn

You naturally communicate well, and can establish trust with people genuinely and quickly.
