The Opportunity
Poppulo is looking for a motivated Senior Integrations Developer to help our large enterprise customers integrate with and get the most out of Poppulo’s Internal Communications platform. This is a Senior level role, reporting to the Manager, Technical Services. A hands-on technical implementation and development role requiring strong coding skills, analysis, and customer service, as well as good project & time management skills.
Poppulo's Technical Services department is a customer-facing technical development & implementation team, focusing on supporting customers during the provisioning, implementation, and integration phases of our world-class enterprise-level SaaS (Software as a Service) platform. The successful candidate will leverage existing experience in a development discipline and will be the key resource in analysing, understanding, re-designing, and re-developing our current API integrations, and migrating them to cloud infra (AWS & Kubernetes). This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced developer to help shape a growing team and mentor junior developers while driving impactful projects
The candidate will be also contribute to the pre-sales process, working with the sales teams and customers, to scope, design and develop integration solutions as part of our Professional Services offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Become the technical subject-matter expert for how Poppulo’s products and services solve customer demands
- Investigate, architect, and build new logic and flows that integrate our product with customers internal data systems (Workday, Azure, SharePoint, GCP, HRIS)
- Deep dive into our current API integrations, improve, change, and make more efficient so we can configure and deploy integrations quicker to improve the customer TTV (Time-to-Value)
- Contribute to enhancing the team's proficiency through Runbooks, Knowledge Base Articles, FAQs, and internal workshops
- Work directly with our security and compliance teams and dev ops to ensure our integrations comply with security standards, GDPR and SOC2 in regards storing confidential secrets / keys and rotation policies.
- Support Poppulo clients during the sales cycle to help them understand how our API solutions meet their key business and technical requirements
- Leverage your technical skills to build engineering excellence within the team that promotes and implements engineering best practices
- Contribute to services strategy, API governance, standards, and technological evaluations to drive our strategic goals
- Document customer requirements and translate them into solution designs
- Act as a point of escalation for major customer incidents
Skills & Experience Required
- 6+ years' experience in a comparable role (Software Developer, B2B API Integrations or Solutions Engineering role)
- Experience working within Customer Success, Implementation, Pre-Sales, Technology, or Solution Eng roles
- Proficiency in at least two or more software languages (e.g. Python, Java, Ruby, etc.) with respect to designing, coding, testing, and software delivery
- Technical background with hands-on experience in JSON, XML, RESTful API and API integrations
- Solid technical background, with good understanding and working knowledge of AWS and Kubernetes
- Experience producing and extending solutions, technical specifications and related documentation
- Proven ability to understand, re-design and re-develop API integrations
- Proven ability in mentoring junior developers
- Be able to work independently
- You will need excellent planning and organizing skills
- Proven ability in delivering projects in strict timeline.
