Company description

Nixxes Software is part of PlayStation Studios and is located in the city center of Utrecht. At our studio, you will have the opportunity to work on projects in collaboration with other renowned PlayStation Studios around the world. We have opportunities that involve many aspects of the full game development process required to ship AAA titles.

• You have at least 3 years of previous experience as a programmer in the games industry or a related industry
• You have up to date knowledge of online gaming technologies.
• You have a pragmatic, hands-on problem solving mentality.
• You are proficient in C++ and other applicable programming languages.
• You aim to design and write well-structured, readable, and maintainable code while demonstrating a good understanding of code performance and complexity.
• You have strong debugging skills
• You work well in a team and on a large code base.
• You have good communication skills in written and spoken English.
• You work well in an environment with deadlines and milestones

• (Native) Dutch speaker.
• You have experience with low level networking APIs
• You have experience with cloud development and Infrastructure (AWS, AZURE, GCP)
• You have good knowledge of server-client and P2P based networking
• You have good knowledge of the behavior and impact of network latency
