Role Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for PlayStation Plus sales and base growth. Delivering the yearly strategy, quarterly sales plans, and ensuring seamless execution of PlayStation Plus acquisition and reclaim activity as part of the Global Services team.

You will introduce new strategies and activity to drive growth of the subscriber count, with a focus on acquiring new customers onto the Services and winning back customers who have lapsed. You will need to ensure campaigns are accurately analysed and fully optimized, whilst working closely with the wider Services team to maintain an aligned approach and seamless execution.

The successful candidate will lead on above the line and below the line promotional and trials strategies, whilst constantly seeking opportunities to increase conversion across all touchpoints and unlock further opportunities to drive base growth.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Create yearly sales strategy to drive acquisitions and reclaims
  • Formulate and deliver business plans to improve subscription sales
  • Communicate quarterly plans to secure consensus and feedback
  • Lead on marquee campaign promotional strategy
  • Drive approval of promotional plans with accurate forecasts in collaboration with finance business partners
  • Consistently propose test and learn opportunities
  • Analyse performance, collect learnings and continuously look for opportunities to improve and optimise
  • Identify subscription/revenue risk and opportunities creating mitigation/go faster plans where appropriate
  • Collaborate with partners across the business to help deliver activity
  • Collaborate to implement console/web/app enhancements to improve discoverability and subscription sales conversion
  • Point person for tactical partnerships to drive subscription sales
  • Collaborate with the Forecast and Trading teams to build, agree and analyse forecasts and performance
  • Manage workload and support development sales specialist within the team

What we’re looking for:

  • 4+ years working in Service / Subscription sales-based role
  • Strong project and commercial leadership skills
  • Commercial awareness of the games market and/or consumer entertainment markets
  • Strong understanding of business economics
  • Ability to decide what shape of service best meets the market, organisation, and objectives
  • Proven planning, execution, and leadership of business plans
  • Creative instinct and ability to think laterally about business planning
  • Creative problem solver passionate about best solutions for the business, partners, and consumers
  • Experience of strategy creation and prioritisation of multiple disciplined factors
