Role overview:

The Brand Specialist is part of the Global Brand Marketing Team. The team is responsible for shaping the strategic plans for the PlayStation Brand and the creative development and execution of global campaigns. Campaigns delivered by the team embody PlayStation’s brand values and commitment to delivering boundary pushing remarkable play.

This Brand Specialist will report to the Group Manager (London based) and will play a key role in delivering global campaigns. You will support campaign development, management, and execution, while assisting with administrative tasks to improve team efficiency. The ability to manage detail and communication across multiple workstreams and stakeholders is essential.

What you'll be doing:

Campaign Management

  • Support across priority paid media global campaigns and initiatives – ownership of asset management (between internal teams and agencies), PlayStation global owned channel support and localisation of campaign assets for final supply to territory and global media teams.
  • Brief, develop and implement owned channel campaigns in close collaboration with internal teams and agencies.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders and ensure smooth approval, communication, and asset delivery between teams and partners.
  • Lead the localisation process for the team working in conjunction with internal collaborators and agencies. Ensuring smooth, timely, and detailed planning across the localisation go-to-market process.
  • Provide support to territory teams to aid local campaign planning, ideation, and execution.
  • Collaboration on cross-functional campaigns contributing strategic and creative feedback throughout the development process.
  • Support the analysis of post-campaign data for end-to-end 360’ reporting, leading to recommendations for future efforts across each campaign channel and workstream.

Operational Efficiency

  • Manage brand assets and team presentations, archiving campaigns and assets for internal reviews and final delivery.
  • Increase operational efficiency through meeting planning, territory engagement, and regular reporting.
  • Management of PO process with responsibility of managing, opening and tracking POs and budget.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Communications or Marketing degree preferred) with minimum 1 year experience or 3 years equivalent industry experience.
  • Passion for the entertainment industry through experience and/or personal interest. Understanding of gaming trends and culture is a bonus.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task across various projects and engage a number of different collaborators across teams.
  • Strategic problem solver with the ability to draw insights from consumer research and data.
  • Enthusiasm for creativity, storytelling and innovation to deliver best in class marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to work flexibly. The role sits within a global team and therefore requires regular late evening calls and occasional early morning calls. Travel may occasionally be required.
