Sr. Strategic Transformation Manager
Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is looking for an experienced Sr. Strategic Transformation Manager to join our Studio Business Group (SBG) Transformation and Operations team. In this role, you will partner closely with senior leaders, cross-functional teams to lead, support, and optimize high-impact initiatives that drive our business forward. This position requires strategic and system thinking, the ability to navigate complexity, and a proactive mindset to lead change in a fast-paced environment. This role will report to the Director of Strategic Transformation and Change.
Key Responsibilities
The Sr. Strategic Transformation Manager will lead and support a portfolio of high-impact programs that are complex, cross-functional, and often studio-facing in nature. The role requires seamless collaboration with internal first-party studios, corporate functions, and global teams, and SBG/SIE Leadership to deliver strategic outcomes that align with long-term business objectives. A successful candidate will be able to do the following:
- Strategic and Systems Thinking
- Evaluate complex business challenges through a systems lens to identify root causes and interdependencies.
- Develop structured and practical solutions that align with SBG’s long-term strategic goals and support specific project objectives.
- Program and Risk Management
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic initiatives from inception through implementation.
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks; escalate critical risks and mitigation strategies to the broader SI team and executive leadership.
- Process Improvement and Operational Excellence
- Act as a continuous improvement advocate—capturing lessons learned and implementing refinements across processes, tools, and outcomes.
- Exhibit a self-starter attitude by anticipating roadblocks and leading solutions before issues escalate.
- Transformation, Change Management and Stakeholder Communication
- Be the face of transformation within the business and understand the ‘right’ way to approach large scale transformation initiatives.
- Effectively communicate project goals, milestones, changes, and impacts to diverse stakeholder groups and leadership teams.
- Translate complex program activities into clear, actionable updates tailored for both executive and operational audiences.
- Industry Insight and Contextual Awareness
- Apply a foundational understanding of the gaming industry to assess external trends and how they could impact our projects.
- Provide contextual input that enhances strategic decision-making, especially during cross-functional planning and change execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Corporate Strategy, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
- 8+ years of relevant experience across consulting, tech, strategy & transformation — preferably within the technology, gaming, or entertainment sectors.
- Proven track record of owning and delivering strategic initiatives that span across business units and functions.
- The ability to turn a high-level business priority into actionable work that can deliver measurable results.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to think holistically while managing detail.
- Skilled communicator with the ability to influence and build consensus across diverse teams.
- Understand the important of change management frameworks and risk assessment practices.
- A passion for gaming and entertainment is a must!
- Some domestic and international travel may be required.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.
Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.
$124,700 - $187,100 USD
