Data Analytics Insights Specialist

As the Data Analytics Insights Specialist, you will be overseeing data analytics and insights efforts for the entire Southeast Asia Region & International Marketing.

You will be working with global, regional and local teams to develop analytical tools for our SEA markets & deliver regular reports that help drive informed decision making.

 

What you'll do:

  • Synthesising data and analysis into impactful, action-orientated reports for stakeholders.
  • Able to communicate the key findings and insight to senior managements and peers both conversationally and in formal presentation style.
  • Conduct analysis using in-house analytics tools, and be comfortable analysing a range of social and business data.
  • Provide qualitative and quantitative analysis and insights to inform business strategy, marketing, digital marketing, and product development.
  • Maintain knowledge of previous analysis to avoid duplication and to share learnings from relevant past projects.
  • Follow-up meetings with stakeholders after received analysis, to ensure it is helpful and documented any scope for improvements.
  • Responsible for Business Performance Reporting to Senior Leadership Teams on a Regional Level. Manage datasets, design data visualization dashboards on Tableau, and deliver relevant insights to key stakeholders through strategic analysis and storytelling.
  • As an Insight & Analyst is part of the SEA and/or International Marketing team, you will be responsible for analyzing a wide range of data to help inform marketing, brand and business strategies. Will ensure the internal briefs are being translated into analytical projects.
  • Responsible for ensuring the analysis is relevant for SEA and/or International Marketing, and local SEA markets’ analysis needs/requests.
  • Work across 6 Local Teams (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam) as well as the Regional SEA team and also the Global Data Team on cross functional and cross geographical projects.
  • Comfortable using a wide range of analytical tools to help with their analysis, be familiar with both digital data such as social and search right through to traditional business data such as penetration and brand equity.
  • Responsible for providing quantitative and qualitative analysis and insight on the projects, whilst working alongside specialist analysts where required. As such they need to be comfortable working on their own analytics projects and also be able to work with specialist experts on larger, more complex briefs.
  • Assess data quality to gauge suitability for analysis.
  • Conceive templates, dashboards and other visualisation tools for data analysis.
  • Interpret data analytics findings.
  • Perform data cleaning and transformation to ensure suitability for analysis.
  •  Provide inputs on current available metrics and data collection to develop new metrics for research projects.
  • Generate graphs, dashboards and visualisations with core metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business performance.

Who you are:

  • You need to have at least 3 years of experience in the entertainment industry, especially in Music Industry. Understanding Local Music Business operations is preferred.
  • You are a critical thinker that can create a strategy and/or campaign to boost the performance of our track on partner platform.
  • You are able to understand data provided by our partners to create a framework and strategy.
  • You need to be initiative and willing to help, agile and ready to work under pressure, and teamwork.
