Social Media & PR Manager

As a Social Media & PR expertise, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Sony Music Entertainment TH artists & corporate Social Media & PR strategy, content plan & project management in order to increase our digital presence and improve promotional marketing and sales efforts

What you'll do:

Social Media & PR

  • Developing and implementing social media content & PR strategies that aim to grow awareness, engagement, loyalty, and monetize across a roster of assigned Sony Music frontline & catalogue artists, as well as Sony’s own social channels and database
  • Analyze, report, create campaign brief and manage the creation and production of relevant artists’ social content, plan, monitor, ad-buying, SEO and appraise results by tracking metrics (Chart Metric, Apollo, SAMIS, Google Analytics, Track Riser etc.), audiences & media/partners’ research and content throughout the life of a campaign, with other business functions (A&R, Creative, Marketing, DSP etc.) to provide creative social & content-led recommendations.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Work closely with creative manager, art director, multimedia to ensure campaign idea & content is creative, relevant, able to stand out in all communication channels.
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network

Promotional Marketing

  • Digital Marketing campaigns with DSPs including Tik Tok & Reels inclusive of social media partners, implementation, measurement and optimization process using various digital marketing platforms.
  • Building and maintaining direct relationships with artists and managers (as well as third party social media, KOL agencies & partners to our artists) to develop and create content, develop and execute influencer marketing opportunities and engagements for their artists, working with our agency support to execute
  • To be accountable and responsible for the promotions and marketing of the domestic artists under our roster on all platforms, including social media, Digital TV, website etc, and this role also needs to be on the field constantly, to accompany artists for TV recordings, radio interviews, photo shoots, etc.
  • Work closely with all internal & external teams to maximise artist's potential across key radio channels, media, local DSPs, Sony Group and keep up to date with all new and existing promotional opportunities across non-traditional outlets
  • Collaborate with other members of the team to develop and implement streaming marketing strategies which will drive consumption and lead weekly meeting to map out monthly social calendar.
  • Manage post boosting testing/optimization, creative development, and analysis for social campaigns, sharing findings in an ongoing manner with key stakeholders.
  • Analyze and communicate competition strategies as well as digital marketing trends.
  • Attend and contribute to all relevant internal company meetings and provide department head & Country GM with timely feedback and follow-up.

Who you are:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Social Media & PR/Marketing Communication expertise or similar role, with relevant music, platform or cultural marketing experience
  • Responsible for creating and administering content on all social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, X, Tik Tok, Youtube etc. to build an audience and ensure customer engagement.
  • Passionate music fan with broad knowledge of music as well as the digital and social landscape.
  • Experience with doing audience research, brand archetype & campaign effectiveness measurement
  • Excellent multitasking skills, project management, team player
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • BSC degree in Marketing or relevant field
