The Role
StarRez is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to join our Business Systems team and take ownership of the day-to-day configuration, optimization, and maintenance of our Salesforce environment. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting our Go-to-Market (GTM) teams (including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Support) by ensuring each stakeholder group is able to fully capitalize on the capabilities of our Salesforce instance.
You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs, configure and enhance the system accordingly, and serve as a go-to resource for platform support, training, and best practices. You’ll be responsible for promoting user adoption, staying current on new releases, and integrating tools from across our tech stack to help our teams operate more efficiently.

Role Specifics
- Work Location: Remote (US)
- Travel: 10% (The percent of travel is an estimation, and it could vary up or down based on business needs throughout the year.)
- Reporting Structure: This role reports to the Manager, Business Systems.

What You Will Own
Platform Management & Administration
- Serve as the day-to-day administrator for Salesforce (Sales Cloud + integrated apps), supporting GTM teams including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Support
- Configure and maintain Salesforce automation and functionality, including flows, process builders, triggers, validation rules, page layouts, fields, and record types
- Administer Salesforce CPQ, including Advanced Approvals, Price Rules, Product Rules, and Bundles
- Manage user setup, permissions, roles, profiles, hierarchies, and data visibility
- Monitor system performance and address bugs, technical issues, or bottlenecks
- Roll out new features and enhancements using proper Change Set methodology
Data Integrity & Integrations
- Maintain data accuracy through regular audits, deduplication, and mass updates using tools like Data Loader
- Support and manage integrations with key third-party platforms, such as Gong, HubSpot, Groove, Conga Composer/Sign, and NetSuite
- Ensure reliable data flow between Salesforce and external systems to support business operations
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Enablement
- Work closely with teams across Revenue Operations, Marketing, Customer Success, and beyond to gather requirements and implement scalable solutions
- Translate business needs into technical requirements that improve process efficiency and data accessibility
- Provide ongoing support to Salesforce users across the business, serving as a go-to resource for questions, issue resolution, and guidance
Training, Documentation, & Adoption
- Provide onboarding support and basic training for Salesforce users, especially new team members
- Promote platform adoption by communicating system updates, new features, and usage tips
- Document workflows, configurations, and best practices using tools like Confluence and Jira
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Salesforce Administration experience in a fast-paced environment
- Salesforce Administrator Certification required Solid understanding of Salesforce best practices, automation tools (especially Flows), custom objects, metadata, etc.
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with an ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and ticketing workflows
- Experience with managed package evaluations, testing, and implementation
- Appreciation of well-crafted systems and data architecture; enjoyment in building Salesforce into an incredibly helpful tool
- Curiosity for and interest in the “why” of system architecture
- Proficient in standard office applications like Word, Excel, and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification
- Salesforce Advanced Admin or Platform App Builder certifications
- Experience integrating external platforms into Salesforce
- Strong investigative and problem-solving skills
- Data-driven mindset
