Supernal provides an inviting open-space workplace designed to foster collaboration, which aligns with one of our core values. This position is required to work on-site 5 days a week.
What we do:
As a Lead Engineer, Supply Chain Systems at Supernal, you will play a critical role in integrating, optimizing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications including SAP ERP and Quality Management Systems (QMS). You will serve as a key liaison between Supply Chain, Quality, and Engineering teams to ensure system functionality aligns with operational and regulatory needs. This role requires deep expertise in SAP modules (MM, and QM) and a strong understanding of QMS documentation practices and compliance standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001).
What you can do:
- Lead design, configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP modules (primarily MM, and QM) to support supply chain and quality operations
- Maintain and enhance QMS platforms to support document control, audit tracking, and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to capture requirements, define system enhancements, and drive digital transformation initiatives
- Ensure SAP-QMS integration aligns with Supernal's compliance, traceability, and risk management requirements
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and validation reports related to SAP/QMS workflows
- Lead and manage end-to-end SAP system implementations and enhancements across key modules (primarily MM, QM, and relevant logistics functions)
- Translate business requirements in Supply Chain into technical specifications and functional designs for SAP enhancements and custom developments (RICEF objects: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms)
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for system issues or process failures
- Provide training and mentorship to business users and junior system analysts
- Support data integrity, security, and compliance audits within engineering and supply chain systems
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in ERP usability, data quality, and reporting capabilities (e.g., Fiori apps, SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI)
- Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally
- Other duties as assigned
What you can contribute:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems preferred
- A minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in enterprise system implementation, preferably in aerospace, automotive, or regulated manufacturing
- Advanced proficiency in SAP (ECC or S/4HANA), with focus on supply chain and quality modules
- Understanding of project management principles
- Experience with data visualization or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Experience with QMS tools
- Strong understanding of AS9100, ISO 9001, and other relevant compliance standards
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
- Experience working in cross-functional, fast-paced environments with a system-thinking mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive delivery of communication and follow-up
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints
- Oversees large projects, integrates new technologies and ensures compliance with standards
- Self-motivated and forward-thinking
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a bonus as part of total compensation.
The pay range for this position is:
$135,000 - $185,000 USD
