This role is responsible for managing the Talkdesk alliance partnership with AWS globally. This is a strategic role that requires annual planning, relationship management, and execution across Co-Sell, Co-Marketing, and Co-Build initiatives with AWS. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with Talkdesk’s product, field alliances, marketing, and operations teams to maximize the partnership’s impact.
This position is focused on identifying target markets, building joint account strategies, and executing go-to-market (GTM) initiatives that drive revenue growth and partner engagement. Additionally, the role will require close collaboration with AWS Partner Technical Architects to drive co-build initiatives that enhance Talkdesk’s visibility and positioning within the AWS ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership Management
- Develop and execute an AWS partnership strategy aligned with Talkdesk’s overall growth objectives.
- Own and drive the annual AWS partner plan, including goals, key initiatives, and revenue targets.
- Manage the AWS Partner Network (APN) relationship and maintain strong engagement with AWS stakeholders across sales, marketing, and product teams.
- Drive Talkdesk’s participation in AWS industry events, partner programs, and marketplace initiatives to enhance visibility.
Co-Sell & Revenue Growth
- Work closely with AWS Partner Sales Managers and Talkdesk Partner Business Managers to identify and progress joint opportunities.
- Oversee the registration and tracking of co-sell opportunities with AWS.
- Enable and support Talkdesk sales teams as they engage AWS in co-sell motions.
- Drive AWS Marketplace transactions and optimize strategies for adoption.
Co-Marketing & Demand Generation
- Identify and execute joint marketing campaigns, events, and demand generation programs with AWS.
- Develop AWS-aligned collateral, case studies, and sales plays to drive awareness and engagement.
- Work with Talkdesk’s field marketing and digital teams to amplify co-marketing efforts.
Co-Build & Technical Alignment
- Partner with AWS Solution Architects and Partner Technical Managers to drive co-build initiatives.
- Ensure technical alignment between Talkdesk and AWS to enhance integrations and joint solutions.
- Track AWS product and service developments to identify potential areas for collaboration.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing strategic partnerships with cloud providers or enterprise software vendors.
- Previous experience in sales, alliances, or business development is a plus.
- Familiarity with AWS programs and GTM motions (AWS Marketplace, APN, co-sell motions) is preferred but not required.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills—this role requires cross-functional coordination and executive-level relationship management.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with strong problem-solving and execution skills.
- Global mindset—this is a U.S.-based role with global responsibilities, requiring availability for EMEA and APAC time zones as needed.
- Travel up to 30%, with quarterly trips to EMEA and bi-annual trips to APAC.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Primarily office-environment work, extended periods of sitting or standing, computer-based work. Limited lifting, and equipment usage limited to computer-related equipment (keyboards, mouse, etc.)
