What you will do

Are you a highly accomplished and creatively visionary Senior Motion Designer ready to shape and champion the visual identity of a leading global brand? Following a full 360 rebranding in the past years, TheFork is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Motion Designer to join our vibrant Content & Comms Team within Central Marketing. Your mission will be to implement our new brand platform, positioning TheFork as a beloved brand for diners (B2C), restaurateurs (B2B), and our employees (Forkies!). You will be the standard bearer of our new brand purpose – we believe the best things in life happen around the table – and the guardian of our new brand platform, ensuring consistent and impactful brand expression across our 11 markets and internal teams.

Reporting directly to the Global Director of Content & Comms, you will be a key point of contact within the creative team for all video initiatives company-wide (Growth, CRM, Local Marketing teams, Product, etc.). You will be instrumental in producing our digital marketing campaigns, focusing on creating engaging content that educates and demonstrates the value TheFork offers to both diners and restaurateurs. You will design impactful creative campaigns that enhance our brand visibility, improve brand perception, and contribute directly to our core growth KPIs, with a significant focus on outstanding designs for all our Performance Marketing channels.

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Brand Championship: You will act as a key guardian of our visual identity. Coordinating and managing global campaigns to ensure consistent brand application, upholding our new brand purpose and platform across all touchpoints and markets.
  • Production of Paid Media Creatives: Leading the development and execution of innovative motion design strategies for a wide range of digital campaigns, with a strong emphasis on performance marketing channels such as UAC, Meta, YouTube, and TikTok. You will strive for cutting-edge approaches and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support: Partnering closely with central and local Marketing teams to produce a diverse range of digital campaigns. You will also be a primary creative contact for video initiatives across Growth, CRM, and Local Marketing teams.
  • Motion Maestro: Translating marketing concepts and briefs into compelling motion graphics and proactively proposing new layouts, design templates, and innovative visual approaches that align with our brand strategy. Refreshing existing visual content and creating new, dynamic videos and engaging template effects to keep our brand communication vibrant and impactful across all touchpoints (performance marketing, DOOHs, flyers, goodies, etc.).
  • Collaborative Leadership & Growth Mindset: Actively collaborating with colleagues and fostering a supportive and knowledge-sharing environment that encourages mutual growth, skill development, and the opportunity to make a significant impact.
  • Staying Ahead of the Curve: Keeping abreast of the latest motion design trends, techniques, and technologies to ensure our creatives are cutting-edge and effective.
  • Data-Informed Creativity: Understanding and potentially incorporating performance data insights to inform creative decisions and optimize the effectiveness of motion assets.

(Applications without portfolios will not be considered)

You Must Meet These Critical Qualifications

  • 6+ years of proven experience in shaping and elevating large-scale brands, supported by a strong portfolio showcasing your most relevant motion design projects and demonstrating your strategic impact.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro and any other video editing tool.
  • You have previous experience leading small teams of designers and/or creatives.
  • A strong and meaningful experience in Brand Design with a focus on marketing and digital campaigns. You are an expert in creating impactful visuals for standard mobile and paid social video formats.
  • A 200% digital mindset with an innate understanding of online platforms and a proactive approach to exploring and implementing new design possibilities. You are not afraid to try new things when it comes to design.
  • You possess an exceptional eye for detail, understanding the nuances of visual storytelling and the importance of every frame.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and an operational mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks efficiently.
