Business Support Specialist
OPS Consulting is seeking a Business Support Specialist to work in Laurel, MD.
The Business Support Specialist shall provide administrative support assisting with the following: extensive record keeping, management of documents, scheduling client meetings, overseeing the directions of assigned team through various processes, filling confidential information, data entry of quality control metrics, answering client inquires and organizing information.
Key areas of focus include:
- Scheduling support
- Event/meeting planning and execution support
- Tracking of clearance and access expirations
- Providing to GOV personnel when updates needed, assist with meeting and briefing support/gathering material and information/developing slides, data analysis/synthetization, etc.).
- Provide Team Specific meeting support; includes providing agendas, taking notes and distributing as directed
- Tracking of actions (e.g., data calls, training/conference calls, etc.) assigned to the Team and ensuring GOV approved responses are provided within established deadlines
- Assist with the development of meeting and briefing material (e.g., gathering material, developing slides, etc.)
- Attend meetings when requested to take notes and document actions; work with GOV personnel to task actions appropriately
- Working with Event Coordination Team when required for the specific team being supported is holding an event
- Providing weekly activity reports/updates to Team Leaders and Members reflecting key activities of the past week and upcoming actions/activities for the team (would receive this information from Team Leaders - Project Director, Program Manager, Technical Lead, Lead System Engineer)
- Submission of Visitor Requests to support Team meetings and escorting team visitors when required
Basic Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree, A minimum of 5 years of experience in MS Suite and 5 years of experience performing general office work.
Required Skills:
You must be an expert in organizational management. Specific experience is required in the below areas:
- Highly organized
- Ability to synthesize information and put into layman/useable forms to support decision making and executive level information sharing
- Use of Microsoft Office Suite

Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00
Pay ranges are a general guideline and not intended as a guaranteed and/or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, work experience, education, certifications, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.
