Network Engineer
The Swift Group is looking for a Senior Network Engineer who will join a new prime contract. This individual will provide technical oversight and support to the daily management of a multi-site enterprise level WAN. Responsibilities include planning, expansion, administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and implementation of network security measures as required by the customer. They will actively participate in the design phase of new equipment installations and upgrades with a particular focus on the security aspects of the network configuration. Additionally, they will design, implement, and document network topology and infrastructure to be used for all security devices to communicate, configuring those devices to operate at specifications requested by the customer. Providing hardware and operating system support to customer base, as well as providing training to Contractor's technical staff on new hardware and software applications will be performed as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of prior relevant experience in developing, configuring, administering, and repairing complex IT networks.
- Possess industry recognized security ce1tification(s) (e.g., Security+, CISSP, etc.).
- Demonstrated work history in network configuration and design of security systems (switches, routers, wireless) and capable of implementing acceptable industry standards and methodology as they pertain to IT networking, structural, electrical, and infrastructure cabling.
- 5+ years of experience with industry standards for network topology.
- Bachelors Degree and relevant certifications in the information technology field
- Proficiency with IT systems, including, but not limited to: MS Office, Adobe, and AutoCAD
- US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
Desired Qualifications:
- CCNA Security and CCNP Security Certifications
- Demonstrated work history focused on implementation of network security measures for enterprise-level Video Maintenance System (VMS) applications
- 10+ years experience with industry standards for network topology.
- Previous experience working with IC
- Experience with variety of technical security systems, for example: VSS, CCTV, GSR, VIS, IDS, VVS

Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00
Pay ranges are a general guideline and not intended as a guaranteed and/or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, work experience, education, certifications, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.
