ABOUT THE TEAM 

This position falls under Member Accession Marketing in the Partner Credit Services team, which is focused on growing and managing unsecured loan products. The Partner Credit Services team plays a critical role in supporting business development and ensuring seamless partner relationships across the unsecured loans space.

ABOUT THE ROLE :

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Partnerships Manager to lead and expand our unsecured loan product portfolio across the [North/South/East/West] region. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in the Financial Services industry with proven expertise in managing and growing sales through multiple channels, including Feet on Street, Sub-DSAs (Direct Selling Agents), Open Market, and Connector channels. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker capable of driving sales performance, leading a high-performing team, and collaborating cross-functionally to achieve organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Design and implement effective sales strategies to expand the reach and market penetration of unsecured loans across the region, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and revenue growth.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with key partners across various sales channels, including Sub-DSAs (Direct Selling Agents), Open Market, and Connector partners, leveraging these channels to maximize business growth and customer acquisition.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of Area Sales Managers (ASMs), providing guidance and support to ensure sales targets are met. Foster a high-performance culture through regular coaching and performance reviews.
  • Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify emerging opportunities and challenges, adjusting sales strategies based on market insights and feedback.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Credit, Risk, and Operations, to ensure smooth execution of loan processes. Work closely to streamline workflows and resolve issues promptly for a seamless customer experience.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements, focusing on ethical sales practices and mitigating potential risks.
  • Prepare and present detailed sales reports and forecasts to senior management, providing insights into performance, growth opportunities, and risks. Use data and analytics to make informed decisions and adjust strategies.
  • Lead the development of the DSA (Direct Selling Agent) channel by recruiting and onboarding new agents, with a focus on expanding the network to tier 2 and tier 3 markets for broader coverage and growth in underserved regions.
  • Build and lead a strong Feet on Street team by recruiting, training, and motivating field sales representatives, ensuring they are equipped with necessary tools and skills to acquire customers and drive sales effectively in the field.
 

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

  • 11+ years of sales management experience, preferably in financial services and unsecured/secured loan products.
  • In-depth understanding of financial services, loan products, market trends, and competitive dynamics.
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of effectively managing and motivating sales teams.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • Expertise in developing and maintaining long-term relationships with key partners, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Results-driven with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and business goals.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field; MBA or advanced qualifications preferred.
  • Proven experience in leading FOS teams, handling unsecured loans, and demonstrating the ability to launch new City while managing P&L and partner relationships
