Our team is looking for a skilled and passionate designer to help strengthen our performance marketing output—creating compelling, effective, high-quality growth content. As a designer of everything from social ads to outbound collateral, your work will be seen by millions. You'll be part of a fast-paced, fast-growing team with the opportunity to work on projects that directly impact the success of a multibillion-dollar global tech brand. As a member of the larger marketing team, you’ll be instrumental in supporting multi-platform marketing campaigns—working cross-functionally between Product Marketing, Content, Growth, and Creative Department stakeholders. Responsibilities
- Working closely with Creative leadership and the Growth team, you’ll be a hands-on maker/creator of the content that drives our success. Primarily focussed on all things digital advertising and growth marketing.
- You’ll be creating social advertising assets from start to finish. Designing static (and animated ads) and their related production aspects like resizing, photomanipulation, and sometimes writing.
- You’ll collaborate on your own executional ideas, help refine and execute other’s ideas, and put the spit-shine final polish on nearly every marketing artifact in the building.
- A key contributor in helping define growth marketing related ad strategies and the real-time experimentation based on closely monitored performance metrics.
Qualifications
- 3-8 years of visual design experience in a design, advertising, or in-house tech setting.
- A portfolio of work showcasing a strong multidisciplinary approach to visual design and creative problem solving.
- You’re a visual design machine, able to ‘make’ assets work through clever photo manipulation and a crafty spirit.
- You’re curious and a critical thinker—thinking about what makes the most compelling piece of communication.
- Able to work effectively, and often autonomously, in a fast-paced environment with rapidly shifting priorities.
- Ability and mindset to create, iterate, and help strategize on performance-based results.
- Do you live and breathe social and love to make content for it? Big plus.
Pay Disclosure
At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate’s skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. This estimate can vary based on the factors described above, so the actual starting annual base salary may be above or below this range. This estimate is also just one component of Verkada’s total rewards package. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
Estimated Annual Pay Range
$120,000 - $150,000 USD
