The Role 

We are seeking a customer-centric, detail-driven Implementation Manager to ensure that we are providing a smooth, efficient, and professional deployment process for our customers. The Implementation Manager will work as the primary deployment project manager directly with agency stakeholders, ensuring they successfully deploy in a thorough and timely manner. 

This is a fully remote position. Occasional travel for on-site deployments may be required. 

Implementation Managers play a key role in realizing Versaterm's mission by delivering the highest quality deployment experiences. The Operations team averages scores above 4.8 out of 5 on survey questions related to agency satisfaction with the deployment experience. 

What You’ll Do 

Main responsibilities, but not limited to: 

  • Oversee 6–10 concurrent customer deployments as the primary point-of-contact and project manager from post-sale to product launch 
  • Manage deployment of multiple different Versaterm Public Safety products 
  • Develop detailed project planning documents following PMI's Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) 
  • Organize project milestones, collaborating with customer stakeholders and the assigned Integrations Engineer and/or Partner Success Manager 
  • Ensure complete documentation of customer notes and accurate communication of customer needs 
  • Interface with product, engineering, customer success, and sales teams as needed 
  • Prepare and conduct customer-facing meetings, presentations, status reports, and kickoffs (primarily via Microsoft Teams) 
  • Coordinate the implementation of customer upsells, migrations, and post-launch enhancement projects 

What You Bring 

  • 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing, project management role 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Excellent project management and customer-facing skills 
  • Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets 
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Keynote, or similar programs 
  • A passion for details, keeping customers happy, and project management 
  • A desire to help public safety agencies and their communities 
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
