About the Role

The Head of Core Alliances will lead and oversee the team responsible for creating and orchestrating multi-region profitable alliances for VTEX, empowering the bonds with the VTEX ecosystems to be increasingly influential in its markets through long-term sustainable partnerships, data-based decisions and revenue focus. The role requires an individual who can drive insights for other VTEX Growth teams about relevant alliances for our merchants, while also managing the team's daily operations and ensuring alignment with the overall business goals.

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the strategy for Core Alliances, including Payments Alliances, and Strategic alliances (Meta, TikTok, Google, etc).
  • Centralize, in alignment with the regional teams, the management of SIs, Agencies, Marketplaces, Logistics, Carriers, Loyalty and others partners globally. 
  • Drive insights for other VTEX Growth teams about relevant alliances and partners for our merchants, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives and priorities.
  • Oversee the management of current high-end partners, including contract negotiation, go-to-market, ACT targets, and rebate charging.
  • Develop partnership standards and guidelines for all regions, ensuring consistency across the organization on ACV oriented goals. 
  • Approve business clauses for regional contracts and prioritize the list for connectors homologation.
  • Assist the Growth areas with payment providers' recommendations and strategic partnerships solutions. 
  • Oversee AWS Partnership across regions, Global/Multi Region Big Tech Alliances over $100k/year, and Big Tech Alliances Roadmap for VTEX.
  • Ensure the accurate business and marketing strategy for the Extensions Hub, including gatekeeping, GTM, business homologation, guideline/catalog, billing/pricing definition, and business clauses/negotiation range.
  • Continuously assess and optimize the performance of Core Alliances, tracking and analyzing KPIs to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for revenue growth and customer acquisition.
  • Work closely with other teams within VTEX, including Product, Marketing, and Sales, to ensure alignment and collaboration on partnerships and initiatives.
  • Develop and execute joint marketing campaigns and co-branded content with partners.

 

About the Team

The Core Alliances team is focused on creating and orchestrating Profitable Alliances for VTEX, empowering bonds with the VTEX ecosystems, and driving insights for other VTEX Growth teams about relevant Partner Solutions that can enhance merchant results.

 

Who you are

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic partnership management, business development, or a related field.
  • Digital Commerce Knowledge: Deep understanding of the industry landscape and market dynamics relevant to our business.
  • Fluency in English. Spanish or Portuguese are a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Strong negotiation and deal-making skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and complex partnerships simultaneously.
  •  Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  •  Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  •  Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with various departments.
  •  Strong understanding of market trends and industry best practices.
  •  Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
