We are looking for a Brand Manager to drive the strategic messaging and visual execution of our commerce platform brand across North America, with a core focus on the U.S. retail, CPG, industrial, and manufacturing sectors. This role is based in Medellín, Colombia, and sits at the intersection of brand strategy, design systems, messaging, and go-to-market execution.

Under the direction of the VP of Marketing, you’ll lead the development of cohesive brand deliverables including visual identity systems, messaging frameworks, branded templates, pitch decks, and multi-channel brand campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Positioning

  • Help define and operationalize the company’s Brand DNA across three distinct pillars.
  • Support the VP of Marketing’s forward-looking vision to ensure all brand initiatives remain 6+ months ahead of the market.
  • Adapt global brand strategy into regional brand narratives that resonate across U.S.-focused verticals.
  • Conduct market and competitive research to ensure differentiation and relevance.

Messaging & Communication Frameworks

  • Build, document, and maintain brand and product messaging architectures.
  • Translate technical and commercial value propositions into clear messaging across channels.
  • Align messaging with sales enablement, demand generation, and product marketing initiatives.

Visual Identity & Brand Systems

  • Own the visual brand system including:
    • Color palette design and governance
    • Imagery selection and styling (iconography, photography, illustration)
    • Typography, spacing, layout rules, and design hierarchy
  • Maintain and evolve brand guidelines documentation to ensure consistent application.
  • Champion usage of templated brand systems via Google Workspace, Canva, Figma, and presentation platforms.

Brand Templates & Asset Management

  • Develop and manage:
    • Google Slides and Docs templates (sales decks, internal docs, reports)
    • Canva templates for social, content marketing, employer brand, and event materials
    • Brand-compliant creative assets for use across regions and functions
  • Serve as point of contact for internal teams requesting custom brand deliverables or template training.

Campaign Planning & Execution

  • Plan and execute brand campaigns aligned with product releases, thought leadership, and U.S. GTM motions.
  • Adapt global campaign strategies for regional relevance and channel effectiveness.
  • Partner with creative teams and Medellín-based agencies for visual production and execution.

Brand Deliverables & Enablement

  • Lead development of high-quality branded content and collateral:
    • Corporate and product pitch decks
    • Executive presentations and event keynotes
    • Brand books, one-pagers, and branded web assets
    • Landing pages, video briefs, and campaign visuals
  • Ensure stakeholder alignment and quality control across all brand-facing touchpoints.

*For this position you are required to attend the office 4 days a week (Monday - Thursday), and remote work on Friday.

About the Team

The Marketing USA team at VTEX is a dynamic and fast-paced group responsible for building and amplifying the company’s brand presence across North America. With a strategic base in Medellín, Colombia, the team works closely with global stakeholders to bring forward-looking brand initiatives to life, translating VTEX’s commerce platform positioning into regionally resonant narratives. From defining brand DNA to crafting visual identity systems and messaging frameworks, the team plays a critical role in ensuring consistency, clarity, and impact across every brand touchpoint.

This collaborative and creative team manages everything from pitch decks and campaign assets to sales templates and branded content. Working alongside the VP of Marketing, design teams, and external agencies, they drive multi-channel campaigns that align with key product releases and GTM motions. Their focus on high-quality execution and alignment across internal and external stakeholders ensures VTEX maintains a strong, differentiated brand presence in the U.S. market—particularly across the retail, CPG, and industrial sectors.

Who you are

  • 5–7 years of experience in brand or creative marketing roles.
  • Strong knowledge of the US marketing and fluent english.
  • Demonstrated expertise in visual brand systems, messaging, and template management.
  • Proficiency in tools like Canva, Google Workspace, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Familiarity with U.S. enterprise software buying audiences in retail, CPG, industrial or manufacturing. Ideally with experience from competing companies.
  • Experience managing agencies or distributed creative teams.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.  Resumes must be in english to be considered 
  • Based in or open to relocating to Medellín, Colombia.
  • Previous experience launching brand campaigns in the U.S. markets
