What you'll be doing:
This dynamic role will see you contribute to a wide range of activities designed to sharpen our value proposition, optimize processes, and attract new clients through strategic marketing, partnerships, and compelling pitches.
Reporting to the Global VP, Health @ WPP, your responsibilities will focus on elevating our presence within the US health marketing landscape:
Health Marketing:
- Strategic Implementation: Execute WPP's internal and external health marketing strategy within the US market, ensuring alignment with global initiatives.
- Asset Champion: Manage and promote WPP's health marketing asset library, ensuring US teams have access to the latest and most relevant resources.
- Internal Advocacy: Raise awareness and drive adoption of global assets within the US through active promotion on internal platforms like Inside WPP.
- Knowledge Sharing: Facilitate monthly knowledge-sharing sessions with agency growth and health marketing leaders across the US to foster collaboration and best practice sharing.
- Community Building: Cultivate a thriving US Health Marketing community by scheduling engaging speakers, curating insightful agendas, managing communication channels, and fostering connections.
New Business Development:
- Pitch Support: Provide active support to US-based health agencies during new business pitches, ensuring seamless collaboration and impactful presentations.
- Research & Insights: Conduct thorough research and gather data for RFI's and RFP's, maintaining a high level of accuracy and meeting strict deadlines.
- Opportunity Identification: Proactively track the progress of active pitches to identify strategic opportunities for Health @ WPP to elevate our response and maximize impact.
- Resource Management: Act as a liaison between US health agencies and WPP's creative, design, and production resources, ensuring timely access to top talent for pitch development.
Operations:
- Reporting & Insights: Manage and drive the US health team's status report, facilitating productive meetings and ensuring timely follow-ups on action items.
- Pipeline Management: Oversee the US health new business pipeline, including:
- Weekly data collection and analysis, collaborating with agency teams to track opportunities, wins, and losses.
- Partner with GCLs and Opco CEOs to maintain accurate and up-to-date pipeline data.
Who you are:
- 3-5 years proven experience in health marketing, growth initiatives, and brand building within the US market.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and compelling messaging.
- Proven ability to thrive in matrixed environments, demonstrating strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- A proactive and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to take initiative, think strategically, and plan ahead.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
