Are you a detail-oriented and driven individual with expertise in company secretarial matters, seeking a role where your contributions make a real impact? WPP, a global leader in creative transformation, is seeking a Paralegal/Company Secretarial Assistant to join our team in Amsterdam/Rotterdam. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our diverse Dutch businesses and gain invaluable experience within a world-renowned organization.

Be a part of WPP in the Netherlands

Based at our Amsterdam campus or Rotterdam office, you'll play a key role in ensuring the compliance and efficient governance of our Dutch subsidiaries. Working closely with the London-based Company Secretary and the CFO of WPP Netherlands Holding Companies, you'll be immersed in a variety of challenging and rewarding tasks, including:

  • Driving Compliance: Manage statutory registers, handle regulatory filings, and ensure maintenance of our entity management system (GEMs).
  • Facilitating Key Decisions: Coordinate and document board meetings, draft resolutions and minutes, and manage the execution of critical documents.
  • Navigating Corporate Actions: Assist with dissolutions, name changes, dividend declarations, and other vital corporate secretarial activities.
  • Collaborating Across Teams: Provide seamless support to WPP agencies, legal, tax, and treasury teams on a range of projects, including various requests and contract negotiations.
  • Enhancing Efficiency: Develop and refine templates, training materials, and other documentation to streamline processes and improve best practices.

 

What You Bring:

  • Relevant background with demonstrable experience in company secretarial work.
  • Good understanding of Dutch company law, administration, and corporate governance principles.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and a desire to further develop your drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach.
  • Accounting/bookkeeping knowledge is beneficial.
