At WW, we apply the latest nutritional and behavioral science to help our members eat healthier, move more, and shift their mindset. The WW Product Design team is a close-knit group of passionate people who craft experiences from service design to digital product creation. 

Our Experience Researchers are on a quest to understand and advocate for what people need and why throughout their health and wellness journey. We use qualitative and quantitative research methods to provide actionable insights to designers, product managers, and other key stakeholders. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct generative and evaluative research to uncover unmet needs across our member experience.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and cross-functional partners to prioritize research opportunities and frame problems.
  • Design and execute research projects using a variety of methods, such as interviews, usability testing, concept validation, diary studies, and ethnographic research.
  • Translate research findings into actionable insights and frameworks (e.g., personas, user journeys, design principles) to drive decision-making.
  • Synthesize insights from qualitative and quantitative data, collaborating with teams like Analytics and Behavioral Science. 
  • Deliver compelling presentations that communicate research insights to diverse audiences, from design and product teams to senior leadership. 
  • Contribute to the evolution of WW’s research practices by mentoring junior researchers, refining processes, and championing user-centered decision-making.
  • Establish and maintain ongoing mechanisms for collecting feedback from users at every stage of the customer journey.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Human Factors, HCI, Psychology, Anthropology, Cognitive Science, or a related field - or equivalent practical experience.
  • You have 5-7 years of experience conducting user research in a product or service design environment.
  • Strong ability to uncover the “why” behind behaviors and articulate findings in a clear, actionable way. 
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills - comfortable presenting research insights through reports, slide decks, or interactive workshops.
  • A collaborative mindset with experience working closely with designers, product managers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with UX design processes and principles. 

Please be prepared to share 2-3 examples of research projects you’ve led or contributed to.

Base salary may vary depending on, but not limited to: skills, experience, and location.  This role is also eligible for a comprehensive benefits package and annual bonus program.

US Pay Range

$150,000 - $170,000 USD
