Who we are looking for
We are looking for a CNC Maintenance Technician to join our growing team! You will be responsible for installation, repair, and maintenance of production and facility equipment to support business objectives.
What you will get to do
- Performing highly diversified duties to install and maintain production CNC machines and the plant facility’s equipment (including lathes, integrated mill-turn, 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis machines)
- Providing emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performing scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
- Performing mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines
- Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
- Diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing parts, testing and making adjustments
- Performing regular preventive maintenance on CNC machines and equipment
- Using a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties
- Detecting faulty operations and reporting those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
- Adhering to safety laws and keeping work areas clean and coordinated
- Performing other work-related duties as assigned
What you bring to the team
- Bachelors or Associates Degree in technical related field of study, required.
- 3-5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical fixing and maintenance of CNC machine tools.
- Experience working with DMG MORI and/or MORI SEIKI machines, Fanuc and/or Siemens controls.
- Proven ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and sequence (PLC) ladder diagrams required.
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
