We are seeking a skilled Powertrain Installation (PWTI) Design Engineer to join our team and take on operational responsibility in the development of new designs and modifications to existing products. This role focuses on designing cooling and exhaust system components for internal combustion engine (ICE) installations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience with PTC CREO, and the ability to analyze and draw conclusions to support robust product development.

Responsibilities;

  • Design cooling system components and sub-components for PWTI - ICE.
  • Design exhaust system components and sub-components for PWTI - ICE.
  • Ensure new designs meet business requirements, including Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Feature (QDCF) targets.
  • Front-load engineering work to ensure robust early-stage releases and stable late-stage releases.
  • Release components as needed to resolve maintenance issues or support project milestones.
  • Assist in developing modular systems and components to optimize part diversity.

 

Qualifications;

  • Experience in designing powertrain installation components, particularly cooling and exhaust systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate design requirements and implement effective solutions.
  • Experience in developing modular systems to enhance efficiency and optimize part diversity.
  • +5 years of experience using PTC CREO preferred.
  • Ability to work independently within a defined technical area with limited need for cross-functional interaction.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $80,000 

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
