
Quality Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to help drive the delivery of superior products that consistently exceed customer expectations. This individual will oversee design quality processes and play a key role in upholding compliance with aerospace industry standards. Responsibilities will include developing inspection documentation, analyzing engineering specifications, and recommending necessary revisions to maintain product integrity and performance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality engineering role within aerospace manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), Quality Management Systems, Regulatory Compliance, Supplier Quality Oversight, Validation Techniques, Risk Assessment, and Manufacturing Processes in a regulated aerospace environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute Design Control activities including validation protocol approval, documentation of design outputs, and development of Design History Files.
- Define inspection criteria and create inspection plans for new parts and updated materials. Ensure inspection protocols are implemented following engineering change procedures.
- Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) to analyze failed components and recommend corrective measures.
- Investigate quality issues and product non-conformances, determine root causes, and implement appropriate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during product development to ensure engineering designs meet defined quality requirements.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to enhance documentation practices and improve inspection processes.
- Take ownership of additional quality-related assignments and lead special projects as needed.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in SolidWorks Inspection
- Experience with Product Data Management (PDM) or equivalent data systems
Salary Range: $100,000-115,000
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
