Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Monitor and update the RVP checklist to ensure production conformity to SOI (Standard Operating Instructions); flag and resolve deviations proactively.
  • Interfaces between engineering and production, acting as a floor-level presence to ensure processes are applied and continuously improved.
  • Acts as technical liaison between engineering and production in the development/optimization of production methods and new designs.
  • Capability to challenge Engineering design and production methods Performs Research and Development (R & D) work to assist in developing parts, tooling, planning, and engineering.

 

Education/Experience 

  • Bachelor of Science degree
  • 1+ year experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Quality roles (preferably in aerospace); able to work closely with production lines and apply engineering standards on the shop floor.

 

Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. 

  • Able to interpret technical documentation and SOIs confidently; supports root cause analysis and applies corrective/preventive actions where needed.
  • Strong communicator with a collaborative, firm presence; capable of pushing for compliance while maintaining productive shop-floor relationships.
  • Prior exposure to Airbus systems, production environments, or aerospace projects is highly valued (but not mandatory if technically solid).
  • Must be available for early shifts (6:00–14:30) and occasional weekends as required by ramp-up and coordination activities.

 

Location: on-site in Mobile, AL

Salary Range: $65K-$75K

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
