ABOUT THE TEAM

Aspire’s Operations Team ensures that our customers have a seamless experience across our platform, with a particular focus on delivering flawless payment and investment operations. The Payment Operations team, part of Operations, is dedicated to managing and scaling operational capabilities for investment and yield-focused products while ensuring smooth execution of payment flows. This team plays a pivotal role in operationalizing Aspire's financial ecosystem and delivering innovative solutions to our customers globally.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Payment Operations Lead for New Verticals, you will oversee the operational success of Aspire’s investment and yield products while driving initiatives to expand these offerings across multiple markets. Your focus will be on payment execution, fund allocation, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure that investments and new product launches are operationally sound, scalable, and aligned with Aspire’s growth goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Investment operations: Manage the operational aspects of Aspire’s investment products, ensuring timely and accurate fund allocations, payouts, and reconciliations.
  • Yield product management: Oversee the operational workflows for yield-generating products, ensuring robust processes for customer onboarding, payments, and reporting.
  • Payment success: Monitor and optimize payment flows related to investment products, ensuring high success rates and smooth customer experiences.
  • New product launches: Operationalize investment and yield products in new markets, ensuring readiness across systems, processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Fund allocation and tracking: Ensure accurate tracking of funds allocated to investment products, working closely with internal teams to maintain transparency and control.
  • Reconciliation and reporting: Oversee daily and periodic reconciliation of investment transactions, producing accurate reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Process improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize operational processes, enhance automation, and improve scalability for investment and yield products.
  • Vendor management: Manage relationships with banking, payment, and investment partners to ensure service quality and compliance with agreed terms.
  • Cross-team collaboration: Work closely with product, compliance, and finance teams to align operational execution with business objectives.
  • Regulatory compliance: Ensure that all investment operations adhere to local and international regulations, adapting processes as needed for new markets.

 

Qualifications:

  • Operational expertise: 6+ years of experience in treasury operations, investment operations, or payment systems, preferably within fintech, banking, or financial services.
  • Investment product experience: Proven experience managing operational workflows for investment and yield-focused products.
  • Payments focus: Strong understanding of payment flows and reconciliation processes, with a track record of optimizing success rates and minimizing errors.
  • Data-driven mindset: Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to monitoring operational performance and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Project management skills: Experience managing cross-functional initiatives, particularly related to launching new financial products or entering new markets.
  • Attention to detail: A meticulous approach to ensuring accuracy in payment processing, fund allocation, and reconciliation.
  • Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Regulatory knowledge: Familiarity with financial regulations governing investments, payments, and treasury operations across multiple geographies.
  • Adaptability: Experience scaling operations for investment or payment products in dynamic and high-growth environments.
