Sr. Director Treasury Operations

Role Overview

As the Sr. Director of Treasury Operations, you will lead the Money Movement, Media Operations & Reconciliation team reporting to VP of Operations Risk Mgt & Treasury Services.  In this role you are responsible for recommendation and execution of strategic and operational plans across the organization working closely with all internal teams, across a broad spectrum of other departments ensuring successful processing of billions of dollars’ worth of customer payments and adhering to regulatory, compliance requirements of being a money services business. 

What you'll do:

•    Executes cross-functional projects and building strong cross-functional relationships, trust and support
•    Operate cross functionally to drive enhancements to drive scalability, improve business practices, increase the quality of our customer service, and promote electronic delivery
•    Partner with key business stakeholders to provide subject matter expertise and input to develop payment strategies
•    Develops strategic and operational goals for the department. Influence business decisions based on experience and the right course of action for the team and the company
•    Drive operational excellence through strong transactional management, accurate forecasting, and leveraging data to recognize trends and improve business efficiencies across all areas, recommend, and execute on corrective action.
•    Support a team environment by sharing best practices, maintaining a winning mindset, and embracing values-based culture with a great place to work
•    Lead multiple teams, responsible for creating workforce and staffing plan to ensure the successful completion of work within SLAs, focused on providing excellent customer service.
•    Lead the Money Movement & Reconcilement Function to include Media Operations

What we're looking for:

•    Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of demonstrated ability to lead teams in a FinTech, banking, B2B, production and/or operations environment
•    In-depth knowledge of US banking operations and practices
•    Deep Accounting & Financial Management experience
•    Cross-functional leadership experience in designing and implementing processes
•    Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills
•    Strong track record in driving transformational changes and results
•    Ability to motivate, coach and develop team members
•    Strong problem solving and analytical skills
•    Ability to creatively build, design, and execute customer service/program adoption strategies that drive performance, boost morale, and create financial results for the organization

We would love to see:

•    CPA preferred
•    Six Sigma or Lean certification/experience
