Talent Success & Operations Manager
About the Role:
We’re looking for a Talent Success & Operations Manager to be the primary point of contact for our roster of podcast hosts and professional speakers. This is a hands-on, relationship-driven role that combines talent management, campaign coordination, and operational excellence. You’ll own the full lifecycle of talent success—from onboarding and campaign execution to renewals and upsells—ensuring our talent feels supported, sponsors see measurable ROI, and events run flawlessly.
If you thrive on organization, building trust with high-profile talent, and executing campaigns with precision, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Onboarding & Retention
-
Act as the main concierge for new podcasters and speakers joining the network.
-
Manage onboarding workflows: collect bios, headshots, tech requirements, and media kits.
-
Conduct regular “health checks” to ensure talent satisfaction and alignment with network goals.
-
Maintain strong professional relationships while ensuring expectations are met.
Campaign & Event Execution
-
Coordinate ad reads, sponsor approvals, and delivery schedules for podcasts.
-
Manage logistics for live and virtual events for speakers, including travel, AV setup, scheduling, and post-event feedback.
-
Ensure seamless execution from planning to “stage-time” for all talent engagements.
Growth & Upselling
-
Identify opportunities for cross-promotion within the network.
-
Track renewals and proactively pitch expanded services or sponsorship extensions.
-
Analyze talent and campaign performance metrics to generate actionable Success Reports for clients and sponsors.
Brand Advocacy
-
Ensure professional representation and consistent brand voice across all communications.
-
Collect testimonials and case studies to support the sales and marketing teams.
Qualifications:
-
3+ years in account management, talent relations, operations, or agency environments.
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable with high-profile talent and corporate executives.
-
Tech-savvy: CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce), project management software (Asana, Monday.com), and podcast analytics platforms.
-
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple stakeholders and campaigns simultaneously.
Preferred / Bonus Points:
-
Experience in media, podcasting, PR, or speaker agencies.
-
Background managing sponsorships, branded content, or live events.
-
Analytical mindset with ability to translate performance metrics into actionable insights.
-
Natural “host” mentality—empathetic, supportive, and professional.
What Success Looks Like (KPIs):
-
Talent Retention Rate: Keeping top podcasters and speakers engaged and satisfied.
-
Sponsor Renewal Rate: Ensuring brands see enough ROI to continue sponsorship.
-
Response Time: Maintaining a high standard for “time to first response” to talent inquiries.
-
Campaign Execution Quality: Timely delivery, smooth logistics, and positive post-engagement feedback.
