What You'll Do

This individual is a key contributor on the Commercial Analytics & Operations team, responsible for critical analytics workstreams that inform launch preparation, execution, and strategic planning. The primary focus is data analytics and forecasting for near-market pipeline products, but responsibilities may include commercial analytics needs across the BridgeBio portfolio. This individual will report to the Director of Commercial Analytics. 

Responsibilities

  • Use data analytics and forecasting to prepare the organization for the commercial launch of two rare disease therapeutics, including providing product performance and competitor market insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders
  • Monitor rare disease market dynamics through prescription and related data sources, to proactively inform the commercial organization regarding the strategic implications of emerging trends
  • Build and manage commercial demand forecasts, including forecast assumptions, model construction, and variance analyses, and provide related reporting and analytics
  • Partner with internal groups (Marketing, Market Access, Sales Operations, etc) to understand and integrate key business dynamics into forecast, and to support and implement IC goals
  • Design, manage, and evolve performance reporting for near-market pipeline products, including in automated dashboards (ex. PowerBI)
  • Develop and maintain analytic tools for the Commercial Analytics organization to help efficiently address ad hoc market questions
  • Use primary and secondary data sources to answer critical business questions that shape launch strategy and tactical execution
  • Measure the impact (ROI) of key commercial tactics, lead efforts to optimize impact of key initiatives
  • Assist/Lead efforts for marketing mix optimization, HCP targeting, HCP/Patient segmentation

Where You'll Work

This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration 3x per week, or as needed, in our San Francisco, CA office. 

Who You Are

  • BA or BS; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 5-10+ years' experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry
  • At least four years in Commercial or Business Analytics in pharma/biotech, including direct forecasting responsibilities
  • High analytical capability with a history of leveraging data and analytical techniques to optimize business decisions  
  • Expertise in claims and Rx, national and subnational datasets, and adept in selecting data sources in a variety of disease areas
  • Skilled at clearly communicating analyses, implications, and recommendations distilled from the analysis or forecast
  • Experience in designing/managing/implementing business intelligence reporting platforms (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)  
  • Experience with patient flow modelling, particularly in rare disease, is preferred
  • SQL exposure preferred – you may be expected to power your analytics with custom data extracted independently and efficiently from our warehouse
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving, dynamic, and evolving small company environment  
  • Experience in promotional effectiveness/ROI/marketing mix approaches and/or sales force analytics and operations preferred   
  • Strong project management skills—the ability to plan, organize and execute multiple projects efficiently, on time, and within budget
  • Intellectually curious, seeks and evaluates innovative approaches
  • Specialty product launch experience in the US; rare disease therapeutic launch highly preferred
  • Ability to lead by example, build partnerships and cross-functional collaborations with open communication, constructive feedback, and organizational flexibility

Below is the anticipated salary range for candidates for this role who will work in California. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type, and length of experience within the industry, educational background, location of residence and performance during the interview process. BridgeBio is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions based in other states.

$170,000 - $215,000 USD
