IT Manager

Buyers Edge Platform Europe delivers the savings power of Buyers Edge to the European continent. Our operations will expand across Europe in the coming years as we onboard more operators and strategic partners in this emerging market.

This position is remotely based out of London, UK. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role. 

Buyers Edge Platform is expanding in Europe and looking for an IT Manager to lead the IT efforts of integrating all of the European acquisitions to a single IT organization. This improves efficiency, unifies tools and enables collaboration across subsidiaries within the European region. This role will be managing the relationships of vendors and internal brand leaders to ensure all of the IT needs are met for the business to grow.

Your Impact:

Vendor Management & Procurement

• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with IT vendors and service providers across multiple European countries.
• Optimize IT procurement strategies, balancing cost-effectiveness, quality, and service efficiency.
• Ensure IT vendors adhere to local regulations, GDPR, and corporate compliance standards.

Business Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary IT liaison between European business leaders and the global IT organization.
• Align IT solutions with business needs, driving digital transformation and operational efficiency.
• Communicate IT strategies, projects, and initiatives to regional stakeholders, ensuring transparency and engagement.
• Work closely with Europe department heads, including finance, HR, and operations, to address IT-related business challenges.

Budgeting & Financial Oversight

• Develop and manage regional IT budgets, ensuring cost control and alignment with business priorities.
• Monitor IT expenditures, forecast costs, and identify opportunities for cost optimization.

Project Management & Implementation

• Lead IT projects across multiple European locations, ensuring timely delivery, scope adherence, and budget compliance.
• Oversee system implementations, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
• Ensure best practices in project management (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
• Assess and mitigate risks associated with IT projects and vendor engagements.

About You:

• 5+ years in IT management, vendor management, or IT business relationship roles, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Familiarity with IT procurement, IT infrastructure, Microsoft 365 and SaaS Solutions.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Multilingual is a plus (specifically Swedish and German)
