Operations Analyst

Join our dynamic Operations & Technology team as an Operations Analyst (15-month contract), where you'll play a key role in supporting daily operations, resolving system issues, and driving process improvements. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical aptitude, a passion for efficiency, and a collaborative mindset.

 

What You Will Do

  • Operational Support & Daily Activities
    • Serve as a go-to expert and systems power user, resolving team inquiries with positivity and precision.
    • Manage and triage JIRA tickets to ensure timely resolution.
    • Lead initiatives to improve data quality through robust policies, procedures, and audit practices.
    • Champion process and workflow enhancements that boost efficiency, reduce risk, and elevate stakeholder experience.
    • Support audit readiness through meticulous data preparation, document reconciliation, and digital organization.
    • Partner with third-party vendors to coordinate system upgrades, maintenance, and testing initiatives.
    • Maintain and optimize forms, filing structures, business rules, and workflows to ensure seamless operations.
    • Analyze data integrity issues and drive timely resolution.
    • Act as a subject matter expert for client-facing platforms, troubleshooting access and data issues, and gathering business requirements for future enhancements.
  • Project & Strategic Initiatives
    • Contribute to strategic projects by researching requirements, developing detailed plans, and identifying risks and resource needs.
    • Collaborate with project leads and cross-functional teams to analyze data and deliver actionable business insights.
    • Support project execution through stakeholder communications, meeting facilitation, and workflow coordination.
    • Own the creation and maintenance of project documentation, including business requirements, plans, and meeting notes.
    • Take initiative in testing system and process changes, ensuring quality and reliability, applying a methodical approach to mitigate post-implementation risks.

  • Continuous Process Improvement Mindset – You consistently evaluate existing workflows, identifying opportunities for optimization and you and can successfully support multiple improvement projects
  • Data Expert – You are proficient in interpreting, querying, and analyzing complex datasets to extract actionable insights. You are skilled in Salesforce, Python, Excel, and familiar with SQL for data analysis and automation.
  • Business Intelligence Tools – Familiarity with Power BI and Power Automate is a strong asset, enabling you to visualize data effectively and streamline day-to-day processes through automation.
  • Education – Undergraduate university degree, preferably in a related field. (Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Statistics)
  • Industry Knowledge – 2 to 4 years’ experience in the financial services industry.

The salary range for this position is $60,000-$70,000 annually. The salary range provided reflects the base salary range for this position as required by legislation. Further questions may be directed to the HR team during the interview process.
