At dunnhumby, we’re looking for a Finance - Reporting Analyst who expects more from their career. As part of our Global Finance Operations based in Gurgaon, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of Finance and Accounting professionals dedicated to excellence and innovation. This role sits within our Order to Cash function and plays a vital role in driving data-driven insights to optimize performance.
What we expect from you
You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to generate insightful reports and dashboards that drive business decisions. This role requires proficiency in data visualization, business intelligence tools, and strong analytical skills to enhance cash flow visibility and receivables management.
Key Responsibilities
- Bringing 5+ years of overall experience in financial reporting, preferably within a global finance function such as Order to Cash (OTC).
- Possesses a good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Extract, consolidate, and analyse large datasets to generate actionable reports and insights.
- Develop, automate, and maintain dashboards using Excel (Power Query & Power Pivot), Power BI, and other BI tools.
- Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for performance improvement.
- Provide both regular and ad hoc reports to support OTC operations, including receivables aging, cash flow visibility, and collection performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements and deliver impactful data solutions.
- Support the Process Lead/Process Owner by delivering insights that drive strategic decision-making and enhance operational efficiency.
- Perform variance analysis to identify inconsistencies in billing, collections, and payments.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency through validation checks and adherence to data governance standards.
- Identify patterns and anomalies in data to aid business decisions and highlight key risk areas.
- Establish and enforce financial controls within the OTC process to mitigate operational and compliance risks.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Document reporting procedures, standards, and best practices to ensure knowledge continuity and scalability.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Having 2-3 years of work-ex alone in financial reporting and building dashboards through the use of reporting tools.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Power Query, Poer Pivot, Power BI, and other data visualization or BI tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience working with large datasets and data modelling is a plus.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion, FAW, ARCS) and financial reporting tools is a plus.
