Golin Los Angeles is hiring an graduate intern to join our team. With a focus to monitor and analyze earned and social media for top brands. You’ll collaborate with internal and external teams to provide insightful reports that showcase the value of our award-winning work. This person will assist in coordinating and executing the day-to-day PR responsibilities.

What You'll Do:
- Daily and campaign monitoring of earned media news and social dashboards and compile daily morning monitoring reports and morning and afternoon campaign monitoring
- Insert all coverage into excel grids or other team formats with active links
- Flag company or product issues immediately to supervisor
- Track competitor news and flag immediately to supervisor
- Learn and exhibit solid understanding of client information including general business, issues of relevance to the industry, individual brand/product campaigns
- Ensure team members are kept updated on client developments
- Participate in client and account team interaction, assist in creating client meeting and call reports, activity reports, status documents, and results reports for agency team
- Interact with team members to provide status updates and project completion
- Participate in and attend appropriate meetings
- Have a strong eye for detail and quality control of ideas for team correspondence and plans
- Understand traditional media and digital and social media solutions and position them for the team to share in collaboration with subject-matter experts
- Proactively, reactively and opportunistically engage with online audiences following guidelines agreed upon by the client
- Analyze community insights, spot trends and make recommendations based on those insights
- Marry culture and the interests of the client’s community through always-ready content development
- Integrate planned content that addresses client events, launches and announcements and help boost with paid media as necessary
- Attend events, if needed, and create compelling content on the spot
- Exhibit solid understanding of client information including general business strategy, issues of relevance to the industry and company values
- Interact with team members to promote integration between content and community
- Work closely with the creative team for visual content needs, and the analytics team for content trend analysis, content optimization and community growth
Who You Are:
- You must have obtained at least a bachelor's degree
- You must be a champion of diverse talent who proactively cultivates an inclusive culture and uses cultural competence to drive agency and client’s business forward
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Golin has included the base salary range or hourly rate for this role. Actual compensation offered within the range will depend upon, among other factors: a candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience; actual ranges for current or former employees in the role; and market considerations.
Hourly range:
$20 per hour
