Account Executive, Business Leadership - Commerce/CPG

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We’re seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate (Account Executive) to join our Business Leadership team and help drive success for a leading CPG brand in the food industry. In this role, you’ll play a key part in managing the day-to-day operations of the account, overseeing a wide range of internal projects and responding to client requests with precision and professionalism.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES)

  • Contribute to various workflows aligned with the account’s needs, including client-specific initiatives, retail shopper executions, and external partner collaborations.
  • Execute projects in line with agency standards and client processes, ensuring deliverables meet deadlines and coordinating workflows with relevant stakeholders.
  • Translate client requests clearly and efficiently, taking the lead on specific projects as needed based on the overall client ask.
  • Effectively utilize agency tools such as creative briefs, creative review and recap decks to communicate key information.
  • Provide daily status updates to the Account Director and team, track deliverables, and maintain the account project tracker to ensure seamless project progress.
  • Actively participate in client status meetings, manage follow-up actions, and ensure completion of required tasks.
  • Review creative and copy against project objectives and strategy, offering clear and concise feedback to maintain quality and alignment.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with various commerce tactics, including digital, social and print outputs within retail channels.
  • Create estimates with a solid understanding of fee structures and client-specific parameters.
  • Establish and maintain strong, effective relationships with multi-disciplinary agency teams.
  • Use agency resources appropriately and efficiently to deliver results.
  • Develop comprehensive understanding of the agency’s offerings, mission, and vision.

HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS)

  • 1+ years of experience in an agency, brand, or retailer environment, with a background in developing and executing campaigns in the commerce or CPG space.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and confidently.
  • Experience working with retail media platforms is a plus.
  • Polished, professional demeanor with the ability to project confidence and enthusiasm for the business.
  • Proven success in managing projects and excelling in client-facing roles, demonstrating an ability to deliver results under pressure.
  • History of building effective working relationships across diverse teams, fostering collaboration and trust.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial aspects such as billing reports, invoicing, and project financial maintenance, including the ability to create accurate estimates.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with multiple teams.
  • Highly organized, with a proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively across multiple projects.
