The Tax Compliance team at EBANX plays a crucial role in ensuring the company's adherence to all local tax regulations and optimizing our tax position. We are a collaborative and proactive team focused on accuracy, efficiency, and strategic thinking.

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Tax Analyst to join our Tax Compliance team in Buenos Aires. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the tax obligations of EBANX's local entities in Argentina, safeguarding the company from financial risks, and identifying opportunities for tax optimization. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring compliance, monitoring tax balances, and exploring innovative solutions to enhance our financial performance.

What You'll Do:

  • Monthly Tax Compliance: Diligently manage the monthly tax activities for EBANX's Argentine entities, ensuring timely and accurate compliance with all local regulations.
  • Tax Register Management: Proactively monitor and manage updates in various tax registers.
  • Monthly Control Processes: Implement and maintain robust monthly control processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of tax calculations and reporting.
  • Government Liaison: Oversee and manage all requirements and requests from various governmental tax authorities in Argentina.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements within the tax compliance function to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, such as Accounting and Legal, and external advisors to ensure comprehensive tax compliance.
  • Stay Updated: Remain informed about changes in Argentine tax legislation and regulations, assessing their potential impact on EBANX.

Who You Are:

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • You are based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
  • You possess strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • You have proven experience as an accountant, demonstrating a solid understanding of tax principles and practices in Argentina.
  • Experience within the payments industry is considered a significant plus.
  • You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You are a proactive and self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
