About Eucalyptus

Eucalyptus (or 'Euc' for short) is an Australian founded digital healthcare company that is on a mission to solve the world’s biggest healthcare challenges - think fertility, and behavioural change around chronic conditions such as weight loss, diabetes, and mental health.

Founded in Australia in 2019, we have now helped over 500K patients globally by combining technology, design and operational excellence to help patients access the best clinical support when they need it - wherever they are.

Our 5 clinics (JuniperPilot, KinSoftware, & Compound) focus heavily on personalising the experience for different demographics and are powered by a growing team across 5 countries (Australia, UK, Germany, Japan, and the Philippines).

We’ve raised over AUD$160M in funding from Aussie and Silicon Valley investors who were early backers of Uber, Canva and AirBnb. With plans to launch into several more markets, offline channels, and tackle new conditions.

About the role

We’re looking for a Videographer who knows how to stop the scroll. You get how content lives and breathes on digital platforms—and you know your first job is to grab attention.

We need a sharp, hands-on collaborator to lead content capture for Pilot, owning both vertical and landscape video across our channels. From shooting to editing, you’ll be producing a high volume of polished, platform-native ads every week.

This role is built for a creator with experience in both social video and traditional TVCs, with a deep feel for what works online. You’re agile, experimental, and unafraid to try what others won’t—all to engage audiences and move our Patients through the funnel.

With a brand on track to smash through $70M+ in annual revenue, the creative runway here is massive.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work with Creatives and Producers to turn content briefs into engaging video, through small to medium sized shoots that you own, either on location or in the on-site Studio.
  • Interpret and answer creative videos briefs, owning end-to-end editing of a wide variety of lo-fi and hi-fi video content, in both vertical and landscape for performance marketing channels, YouTube, BVOD, and TVC.
  • Work alongside and collaborate with Video Editor peers to elevate the storytelling craft and visual polish of content, through sharing of formats and ideas, discussions of new tooling, experiments, and social trends.
  • Collaborate with Creatives to brainstorm ideas for future content and videos, to ultimately create attention grabbing video that drives conversions and builds cult brand awareness.
  • Supporting the Producers on larger scale shoots / campaigns in the capacity of a 1st AC / B-Cam Operator / Data Wrangler as needed, with the opportunity for A-Cam & DOP work.
  • Working with Creatives / Designers / Producers throughout the Offline & Online editing stage of larger video campaigns to ensure a smooth and timely delivery of final assets.
  • Supported by the Growth Marketing Manager, interpret performance and engagement metrics, whilst championing a test and learn approach to iterate and optimise content based on creative feedback and performance.
  • Champion efficient and organised editing workflow systems, such as ingesting of footage, filing of raw assets, creative WIPs and final exports.

About you (Who you are):

  • 3-5+ years experience in video content production and editing (bonus if you have YouTube or TVC experience).
  • Ability to independently shoot small to mid sized video projects, including operating different camera systems (incl. Blackmagic, Canon and Arri), basic lighting setups and audio capture.
  • Extreme attention to detail and a thorough understanding of performance channel best practices, with the ability to construct a strong narrative / story-edit, that visually stands out and drives conversions.
  • Enjoys working with Creative peers, and has a passion for bringing ideas to live via video. You are confident to share your ideas, WIPs, and production solutions to drive projects forward.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment where you will need to balance quality with velocity and a MVP mindset.
  • A collaborative team player with strong written and verbal communication skills, who is unafraid to ask questions, and is comfortable communicating upwards to stakeholders.
  • You love to create impact through hard work, experimentation and overcoming constraints.
  • High level of proficiency in After Effects, Premiere Pro and Davinci Resolve, editing for a variety of target audiences within performance marketing and landscape channels.
  • Working knowledge of best practices when it comes to file management, workflow and folder structures.
  • Ability to do basic colour correction and sound mixing.
  • Have a demo reel with your best work.

Nice to have:

  • DOP / Directing experience.
  • Design or art direction experience.
  • Ability to use After Effects to create simple motion graphics for videos.
  • Experience with tools such as Iconik, Figma or Blackmagic Cloud.
  • Colour grading and sound design experience.
