Senior Mobile Developer (Research Team)

About the role:

We are seeking a talented and creative Senior iOS Developer to join our team in combating online fraud. In this role, you will play a key part in identifying and neutralizing sophisticated fraudsters in real-time, at a large scale, for some of the world's largest enterprises. This position requires responsibility, creative thinking, and a proactive attitude to solving problems with non-trivial constraints.

What you'll be doing:

  • Conduct in-depth research into the internals of iOS, exploring lesser-known APIs, understanding upcoming features, and designing innovative solutions to integrate them into our products.
  • Develop robust code that runs on iOS devices within our SDK (Objective-C/Swift), ensuring safety (zero crashes) and optimal performance (battery, network, etc.).
  • Extract valuable data from devices while maintaining high standards of security, performance, and user privacy.
  • Take ownership of the entire data flow process from concept to implementation, collaborating closely with analysts and engineers to ensure seamless integration.
  • Deliver and publish SDKs to production, which will be utilized by thousands of merchants and interact with tens of millions of users daily
 

What you'll need:

  • A passion for unraveling complex systems and a deep curiosity about iOS internals.
  • 4+ years of experience in iOS development, with a strong focus on system-level programming, SDK development, or similar areas.
  • Proven expertise in building modern mobile apps, SDKs, OS services, APIs, and understanding development cycles.
  • Awareness and familiarity with mobile developer concerns when building apps at scale, including security, performance, privacy, and compatibility.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of new iOS beta releases and upcoming changes/features.
  • Ability to identify risks and roadblocks that could impact our code, SDK, or legal considerations in the future.
  • Experience with reverse engineering tools and techniques is an advantage.
  • A creative mindset and a passion for research, with the ability to think outside the box to develop innovative solutions.
