Position Summary: 
As an SAP Module Engineer specializing in Sales and Distribution (SD) and Customer Management (CM), you will be responsible for the design, configuration, testing, and support of SAP SD/CM modules to enhance sales order management, customer engagement, and distribution processes. You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of SAP solutions with business objectives, driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Sales and Distribution (SD): 
  • Lead the implementation and optimization of SAP SD processes, including order management, pricing, billing, and shipping. 
  • Configure sales documents such as sales orders, quotations, contracts, and delivery notes to support complex business requirements. 
  • Ensure seamless integration between SD and other SAP modules like MM (Materials Management), FI/CO (Finance and Controlling), and WM (Warehouse Management). 
  • Optimize pricing procedures, tax configurations, and discounts to streamline revenue processes. 
  • Develop functional specifications for SD-specific enhancements, reports, and interfaces. 
  • Support and troubleshoot issues related to sales processes, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. 
  • Monitor and optimize logistics execution processes, including transportation planning and tracking. 

Customer Management (CM): 

  • Design and implement SAP CM solutions to enhance customer relationship management, including master data management, account hierarchies, and interaction tracking. 
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for improved customer engagement using SAP tools. 
  • Customize workflows for sales leads, opportunities, and customer service management to align with business goals. 
  • Develop and maintain reporting solutions for customer analytics, order history, and performance metrics. 
  • Provide training and documentation for end-users to maximize adoption of SAP CM functionalities. 
  • Conduct system testing, including unit and integration testing, to ensure SD/CM configurations meet business requirements. 
  • Stay updated on SAP SD/CM advancements, recommending innovative solutions for sales and customer processes. 
  • Collaborate with external vendors or consultants for system enhancements or integrations. 
  • Manage SAP SD/CM project lifecycles, from requirement gathering to post-implementation support. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience with SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and/or Customer Management (CM). 
  • Proficient in SD functionalities, including order-to-cash (OTC) processes, pricing, billing, and logistics execution. 
  • Familiarity with CM functionalities, such as customer master data, CRM integration, and customer interaction workflows. 
  • Strong understanding of integration points between SD/CM and other SAP modules like MM, FI/CO, and WM. 
  • Hands-on experience in configuring and optimizing SAP SD/CM solutions for manufacturing or supply chain industries. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business scenarios and deliver efficient SAP solutions. 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments. 
  • Experience in full lifecycle SAP implementations or enhancement projects. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • SAP certification in SD or CM. 
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, including advanced order-to-cash and customer experience features. 
  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications related to SD and CM. 
  • Exposure to third-party integrations for logistics, e-commerce, or customer service platforms. 
  • Familiarity with EDI and other electronic communication protocols for order and billing processes.

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package at Gotion, and is determined within a range. This provides you with the opportunity to progress as you grow and advance your career at Gotion. The base pay range for this role is shown below, and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experiences, and location.

Expected Pay Range

$1 - $2 USD
