Supply Planner
Job Summary:
The primary role of the Supply Planner is to develop, execute, monitor, and manage the supply plan for assigned goods or groups of goods. Tasked with using internal forecast data, historical system data and other inputs and insights to review demand plans, along with providing purchase execution, guidance and management of supply plans required to support corporate goals and objectives. Along with these tasks, the Supply Planner provides process management within the group across the various Supply Chain disciplines, collaborates with Operations, Marketing and Merchandising teams.
Job Expectations:
- Execute strategic procurement plans using demand plan output, inventory, and supplier metrics in support of strategic business objectives.
- Provide experience and leadership within the supply planning execution process as required.
- Support the company’s Merchandising and Marketing initiatives to ensure adequate inventory is planned and available to support product launch, business initiatives, promotions, sales and events.
- Support New Item roll outs and subsequent processes to ensure successful sales
- Establish, monitor, and manage supplier delivery plans to achieve desired service levels, minimize stock-outs, working capital expense and delivery costs.
- Work closely with the system data management team to ensure system integrity of supply chain parameters and settings in support of approved business and working capital objectives.
- Foster supplier relationships to leverage collaboration and supplier performance in the best interest of Iherb
- Provide reporting, KPI updates and metric data related to supply chain indices as assigned.
- Perform supply chain project management activities.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Extensive functional knowledge of planning, forecasting, purchasing execution and supplier relationship management, along with related supply chain areas
- Understanding and proficiency using technology tools that enable demand and supply planning and reporting, along with collaboration with external stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong mathematical/statistical abilities
- Proficient with Excel
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts
- Generates, validates and prioritizes value propositions for areas of opportunity to improve financial and service metrics across supply chain functional areas
- Consistently resolves conflict and persuades others to resolve conflict without requiring elevation
Equipment Knowledge:
- Strong computer skills, proficient with MS Office: Advanced Excel
- Google Suite
- Experience with Planning and ERP systems preferred
Experience Requirements:
Generally, it requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in an e-commerce environment. Natural Products experience is a plus.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience required.
Judgment/Reasoning Ability: Able to identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly using sound judgment, poise and diplomacy. Ability to use judgment and reasoning skills, and determine when to escalate issues, as required, in a timely manner.

The Team Member is frequently required to sit, walk, climb stairs, use hands and fingers, bend, stoop and reach with hands and arms. Work Environment: The WFH environment is primary, the office is optional. Other factors are:

The anticipated pay scale for this position can be found below, however the pay range applicable to you may vary by geographic location based on where the job is located or where you work. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc. iHerb, LLC is a multi-state employer and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations.

Anticipated Pay Scale:
$54,063 - $115,850 USD
