The International SDR Director is responsible for managing a team of Sales Development Representatives based in the Netherlands, United States and Singapore. The team’s goal is to accelerate the sales cycle beginning with prospecting and qualifying of leads and prospecting/qualifying companies and contacts . This role will ensure that their teams are executing best practices of prospecting, lead qualifying and account mapping with the goal of providing leads that produce opportunities for the sales teams. In addition, this role will collaborate with the  marketing team on strategic initiatives that will best generate quality leads to the SDR teams. 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the followup and qualifying of leads by SDRs
  • Collaborate with Marketing and provide feedback on quality and quantity of leads the team is receiving
  • Work with the Sales Directors and VPs to ensure all processes and passing of leads between teams is frictionless and beneficial to the sales cycle
  • Align team goals with expectations of VPO, Global Sales Development
  • Draft new material for emails to be sent to prospective customers used to garner interest in our products
  • Monitor and respond accordingly to the What’s Working emails
  • Maintain a spreadsheet with teams passes and other relevant details
  • Maintain and analyze sub-statistics in order to obtain pass goals for SDRs
  • Identify areas of improvement for the SDR team, and coach those employees in need when appropriate.
  • Be an expert on prospecting and other key elements that are necessary to be a top performer
  • Meet and/or exceed individual goals to contribute to the team’s success
  • Exemplify the values and mission of the Company
  • Handle day to day needs and requests for their SDR team
  • Ensure the team is leveraging a sales tool to discover new leads
  • Tag in on calls with team members, as necessary
  • Identify points in processes and procedures that need to be revamped or tweaked to provide greater team efficiency
  • Serve as a mentor and leader of prospecting best practices
  • Be up to date and fluent on KnowBe4 policy and procedure in regards to prospecting and ensure it is in use
  • Provide genuine recommendations as to the hiring, firing, promotion, and discipline of subordinate employees to which the Company gives significant weight

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of team management experience
  • Experience in Sales
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the IT Security Field
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM
  • Experience with Gmail and Google Docs
  • Experience with MS Office
  • Leadership skills required
  • Mastery of closing techniques, discovery questions, prospecting, building rapport and other key elements of the sales cycle
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills
  • Strong verbal and written communications
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
