Position Title: Event Marketing Manager
Position Summary:
Natera is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Event Marketing Manager to support the Oncology Business Unit by managing the planning and execution of mid-tier industry conferences. This role will be responsible for ensuring successful event participation, optimizing engagement opportunities, and strengthening Natera’s presence within the oncology community. The ideal candidate will have experience in event planning and execution within the healthcare or biotech industry, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning & Execution:
Oversee the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of mid-tier industry conferences to maximize Natera’s impact.
Develop and implement event strategies that align with the Oncology Business Unit’s goals and objectives.
Manage event logistics, including booth design, promotional materials, vendor coordination, and on-site execution.
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and product teams, to ensure event messaging and branding are consistent and compelling.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management:
Build and maintain relationships with event organizers and industry partners to secure prime positioning and sponsorship opportunities.
Work closely with external vendors, agencies, and contractors to deliver high-quality event experiences.
Negotiate contracts, manage budgets, and ensure cost-efficient event execution.
Performance Measurement & Optimization:
Track and analyze event success metrics, including attendee engagement, lead generation, and ROI.
Provide post-event debriefs with insights and recommendations to optimize future event strategies.
Collaboration & Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for event execution, ensuring seamless communication across all stakeholders.
Work closely with the oncology marketing team to develop pre- and post-event marketing campaigns that maximize audience reach and engagement.
Qualifications & Experience:
5 – 7 years of experience in event marketing, trade show management, or conference planning within the healthcare, biotech, or life sciences industry.
Experience managing multiple events simultaneously, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple stakeholders.
Strong understanding of event logistics, vendor management, and budgeting.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to travel (up to 30%) for event execution and onsite management.
